It’s very unlikely SM will partecipate to a Hybe project and yes it seems like SM and JYP wants to create a new platform or introduce some new features to lysn

"Dear my dear" are poems rather than songs.
"Shall we" and "My dear" have quite a few references to stars, galaxy and nighttime. It reminds me of the meaning of his stage name. Jongdae said "Chen" refers to a Chinese word "辰“ means "Stars". And that's what he is.
There's something so warm and comforting about Chen's eyes and the way he looks at people. You can tell he's such a loving person. I love him so much 😭😭👎🏻

the collabs between chen and dynamic duo would be great to react to! they've done 2 songs together, "nosedive" and "you". both are amazingly beautiful. dynamic duo is a hiphop duo who are close with exo members. one of the members, gaeko, works with exo-sc a lot on their albums and has featured on their songs as well. :) one of the things i love about exo is that they keep a close relationship with people they work with and thats clear to see with them and dynamic duo. i think every exo-l should know about it! same with the artist "10 cm". he has also worked with both chen and exo-sc

I listen to Chen’s Album when I’m doing loads of paper works especially when it’s late at night already. It helps me calm my mind and finish my work with less stress i should say. His voice is just calm and full of emotions.

Same here. Suho's Self Portrait and Chen's Dear My Dear as well as his cover of Everyday, Every Moment and his osts have been my lullaby for more than a year already. Chen is that member who will always make me cry..by his talent, by being so proud of him, by his achievements, by his character as a person, by being himself. He is such an angel. When EXO is just starting, he was that underrated member. Kyungsoo will always be my bias, but Jongdae just hits me differently everytime.. i love this man so much. ❤️❤️❤️

This made my heart flutter Sir Austin! I absolutely love how you reacted to Chen. As I always say, whether EXO as a whole or their solos I will always be with them. There's too much competition in Kpop music industry, but EXO will really give you a place where you can just listen to them comfortably. A lot of my friends introduced me to other groups and yes I also liked them. But with EXO, I feel like I'm at home listening to them. When I started listening to EXO my bias was Kai, in the middle of my journey Baekhyun became my bias, and now... Although Baekhyun is still my bias Jongdae became my everything, he's my sunshine, my safe place, my angel, my hubby...so I understand why you feel like that with him haha 💓

I love this album is so beautiful! The nights when my mind doesn't stop I play Goodnight and fall asleep. I'm so grateful for Chen. Just a thought, hoping you do an OST day. Chen's OST Everytime is the reason I found EXO. I heard his voice in the drama and fell in love, googled it then found EXO and dove into Exoplanet in like a month.

Just a lit clarification... Both albums were released on 2019... So Dear My Dear was released on October 1st, 2019... This was a year before we (and him) knew the exact date he was going to Military... The only release that was a gitf b4 his enlistment is "Hello"
My favorite song on this album is probably "My dear" although I love all the songs but the lyrics and the melody of this particular song is just sooo beautiful and knowing that chen himself wrote it makes it so much more meaningful.
I wish in the future when you react to lyric videos please double check the source because half of these lyrics are just so jumbled up so the song loses all its meaning. for example in my dear the chorus goes: "The light of the brilliant moon dances its last dance, like riding atop a swing, even as it drifts away from you.. " it's soooo pretty they really messed it up.
Also for Hold you tight the lyrics were wayyy off the chorus is:"smiling shyly while looking at me, you who run into my arms, how can I not hug you who's like that. listening to you whisper at where's closest to my heart, how can I not hug you who's like that? "
And for Amaranth his fav lyrics are:"The dewdrop laden in your two lovely eyes, I will place it in the cloud fragment I picked yesterday. If it becomes time for your heart to dry up, I will squeeze it and water it again"

Personally “My Dear” is my favorite song and my most listened of 2019 on Spotify (Kyungsoo’s that’s okay the most listened on 2020^^ ).

I highly recommend next “Cherry Blossom Song” that is a BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS OST that he made specially for his brother Kyungsoo starring drama, “100 days my prince” that you already know ^^ it’s a nostalgic sad beautiful song and it was really made to be specially sang by Chen.
As a las request, I know you have a lot of reactions to do 🥺 but Chen has a cover of Park Hyo Shin’s “Breath” song.
It would really be amazing if it’s possible for you to react to the original first to understand a bit more the meaning and deepness of the song, that not only lies in its beautiful lyrics but in Park Hyo Shin’s deep and powerful interpretation. EXO members are big fans of him, but specially Chen. Park Hyo Shin is such a legend with a very special tone of voice. I know it’s not Kpop per se but I promise reacting to spark Hyo Shin will be beyond worth it ❤️ he has a very hard story too, he’s like a lonely deep and nostalgic soul, full of emotions and rawness. “Breath” has an original video but there’s a fan video with English lyrics over the actual music video (by LoveKpopSubs channel).

Everytime exo members or even the staffs or people they have worked with are being asked about their thoughts of Chen, majority will really testify how kind he is. As the members said, Chen's the kindest soul they have ever met. The most loyal, honest and responsible man. It makes me cry when I see antis just mindlessly attack him and his family when they don't even know Chen or at least listen to what the members say about him. Ok I don’t know if you’ll read this but I don’t care haha I just want to thank you for reacting to Chen. He’s my ult bias in K-Pop and is a very special person. His voice has a power to heal, he helped me a lot with his music. I have always had a thing for emotional voices, and what’s most special about his is, it can be super emotional that makes you want to cry very loudly, but it can also be very comforting depending on his songs. And he reflects his capability with the contrast between April and a flower and Dear My Dear.
No one really reacts to Chen’s album because as much as he is the main vocalist of EXO, a lot of EXO-Ls seem to not be into his tone and the genre of music he does, which is mostly ballad. I barely see anyone recommend Chen anymore on EXO reaction videos so I feel a duty to recommend his music looool. I know people’s preferences are different but I want others to experience what his voice and singing does to my heart lol.
I don’t care about popularity, he’s in my opinion in a good place. How unpopular can an EXO member be? His music sells and his group succeeds. He literally sings half of the OSTs EXO has ever done so I don’t think we need to worry so much about that haha. I just wish people would be more respectful toward his private life and family. We have no say in that, we’re just fans. Let’s love them for their music, talents, the way he treats us. Fans often forget about this.

You're gonna obsess with Jongdae more when you attend their concert (hopefully in the near future). He always leaves an impact. I don't know how this happens though. We attended Exploration last time and everyone who attended can't stop talking about him after the con. Twitter was a mess. He wasn't even my ultimate bias. Don't get me wrong, I love all of them. Bias wrecked by all of them but Chen was like glowing and a magnet during the concert. And his voice, so angelic. And he's more handsome in person, i was shocked.

Chen really has a good voice and he can turn non-kpop fan to a fan ! My sister really didn't like kpop but she instantly like "Shall we?" and same with my brother, he didn't even know how Chen look like but he instantly add "You never know" in his playlist. So happy that my family is turning an EXO fan thru their music, nothing else just pure talent.
Chen’s albums are the best for me. His voice is so incredible! I always listen while I sleep cause they help me go easy with sleeping.
Chen has the most beautiful voice, anything he sings is golden. One over looked cover he performed is off John Lennon's Imagine. To me, it is even better than the original, the best cover of this song ever, and that is the ultimate compliment. I don't know if it might be blocked, if so, enjoy it for your own sake.

I've never met someone as kind as he is, he truly deserves all the happiness 100x more than he gives it to us. Sir Austin got totally confused, well I was too. "Dear my Dear" is the album name with title track "Shall We!". "My dear" is a side track written by Chen, not the title. And Kenzie is a korean person who writes the original lyrics for SM's songs. At first I also used to think that she might be foreigner, but she's not.
For the lyrics of My Dear your assumptions are right. He was asked by Eries that is the song for them, and he said in a teasing way, "no, not for you"(giving the prettiest smile in the world)!
Anyway this album is a masterpiece, well anything coming out of EXO's mouth is masterpiece.
