What if the next Unova games take place in different time periods
You might be wondering how would there be an original dragon if Zekrom and Reshiram exist in different time periods, a possibility would be that the Original dragon is a paradox and similar to the Sada and Turo paradox it's origins are unknown.

It is possible that it was the Draconids Tribe. They guard every legendary one way or another. And that could explain why there is a Noivern as one of the guardians. As well as a Garchomp.

Heath's team did not magically end up in the Underdepths. The professor wrote that there had been much erosion, ending in a final cave-in in the past couple of centuries. Heath could have gone there on foot, then fallen even further to get to Terapagos.
The way I see it this game is the result of a triple bootstrap paradox, which is something never done before in media. Essentially, the player managed to do everything because of the professor’s previous influence, which was accomplished because of Heaths’s findings. But. Heath only managed to write this book because the professor read it in the first place and gave Heath the equations, and the professor managed to understand all that because we gave them Briar’s book at the crystal pool. One effect in each time period directly influences the others in the other time periods and vice versa. That’s bloody brilliant.
I love how much Ttar loves pokemon. You can tell he actually loves doing this and I rock with it.
Ya know, it's a damn shame that the paradox Pokemon didn't play more of a role in the main game aside from the Iron Treads/Great Tusk that escaped. They really could have been the Titans Pokemon but functioned like Totem Pokemon from Alola. Could have had Iron Jugulus/flutter Mane in place of Bombirdier, Iron Thorns/Sandy Shocks in place of Klawf, ect. We could have had more involvement from the gym leaders to help defeat them and had part of the treasure hunt be to figure out where they came from, only to find out that Clavelle and Geeta already know about the time machine and there could have been some long-forgotten prophecy about a "child of time" (us) that can save the region. Could have tied Paldea/Galar/Kalos lore together with this as well as well as all the gimmicks in those regions together as well.
What I would've wanted the most is for Area Zero to just be much larger and more detailed, like an actual lush forest as large as another region, with a ton more paradox Pokémon. It wouldn't be as hard to make a bunch of paradoxes as it would be to make entirely new Pokémon, since they would already have designs to base them off of. This also could've been done if Area Zero was the same, but we actually went through the time machine and saw the past/future, like with ultra space. Repairing the time machine and going through it would've been a better DLC in my opinion.

Wow, I'm glad I read this, because it's similar to what I said about Pokemon having two different timelines, or universes. I agree that something like what you mentioned could have really helped make some sense of those regions lore, and maybe even established that what we're playing right now is technically an alternate timeline of the future set after Red and Blue's time as trainers.

Notice how they specifically mention a survey team. Possible future legends game. Where you descent into area zero for the first time a part of heaths original team. Maybe could be the star survey expedition team. Would line up from team star and terrapagos signature move.

What if Heath was meeting Sada/Turo and they gave him this page in his „own“ handwriting, but the thing is, that it‘s actually the handwriting of his granddaughter and the page was a page of her book. If I remember correctly we received a prototype of her book, what maybe explains why it‘s handwritten. 🤷🏼♂️
I mean that could very well be, but problem is handwritings r unique, no 2 handwritings r identical. Yes forgers exist but even those can be snuffed out by specialists and differentiate the original from fake. As a matter of fact let's take for example someone forged ur handwriting even if others can't tell, u being the original can easily find the difference. That's the actual real life concept. This being a game it could very well have been like u said and handwritings r just same in the family tree. 😅

Maybe Briar is the origin of the page as Heath's time loop would be different in each game. Scarlet would have him visit the past + unknown timeline and Violet would have him visit the future + unknown timeline. Briar keeps Heath's original manuscript, so she could have given him a page from his own book creating the loop and explaining pretty much perfectly how he could have something in his own writing that he can't remember writing. Briar is also an excellent candidate for this exchange as she is Heath's descendant so he wouldn't know her as she would most likely have been born after he died in disgrace in the original timeline.
I’m thinking that these events are happening in different timelines outside of our own that are then causing paradoxes in our own timeline. For example, Heath meets a Sada/Toro from a timeline outside of his own. We meet Sada/Toro from a timeline outside of our own. And the Scarlet/Violet books are what change. Kinda like history being rewritten several times over because the timelines have different versions of events
The multiple timelines theory is most likely a red herring, just as the imagination hints never actually led to anything. The simplest explanation is often the correct one, meaning there’s probably just several time loops in play. A paradox wouldn’t involve other timelines, as that would provide an explanation and therefore ruin the paradox

The symbols in the Roaring Moon/Iron Valiant cave look like arrows. If you see the symbol in the Box art it shows the arrows going around, alluding that there is a time loop.
Maybe Heath spoke to a parallel timeline Heath. That would explain why the notes are his own handwriting.
I’d love to see someone make a real-life version of the Scarlet/Violet books. That would be so cool.
So there is one thing that is not really talked about enough. Something that is there since the beginning: Evolution.
There is a connection between this and the new Paradox forms or alternate forms in general. We know depending on the region that the Pokemon change over time, even changing to a point that they are completely different (convergent species).
We know since the first games that Pokemon change forms, which is evolving. They need to evolve due to Darvins' Law so they can survive.
In a timeline where some major catastrophies didn't occur, such as armageddon that wiped out almost all living species, there would be a need to be the biggest and strongest with dinosaurs and other large predators running around. The "past" paradoxes always stayed in their primal form for survival. It makes sense that depending on the version (S/V) Heath got send to one of those timelines, that's why he saw Donphan in a tropical environment.
I hope that they expand on the evolution aspect especially synergetic connections between human and Pokemon. Maybe in the Unova games?

The way I interpreted Heaths meetings with the Paradox Pokemon is that they were momentarily transported to the past or future through the same power Terapagos used to have us meet the Professors. No need for further time loops created somehow through the time machine that shouldn't even be able to transport Pokemon into that time on its own, and considering there seem to absolutely NO Paradox Pokemon to be around in Paldea between Heaths exploration and the Professors time machine, again, them just being brought over momentarily makes the most sense to me.
I also think the area you described as the Underdepths is actually just the depths where the Zero Lab is located, I'm pretty sure Heath was said to be the only one to have fallen into the Underdepths, where he had a meeting with Terapagos and that stranger.
I like to believe that the character we play is the Paradox. Without the action of our character there would be no time loop. If our character did not exist Kiran would not go on his arc to get stronger and wouldn't go to area zero to catch Trapaga's. Meaning we would never have the white book and without the white book Sada/Turo would have never completed the time machine. That means the page that Heath scribbled is a page depicting his environment when he did phase through time to talk to Sada/Turo and in this time it would be of the incomplete time machine which is why the page has equations. In this timeline Heath met Sada/Turo when they were trying to fix the time machine. However our character is a higher level entity that we control so when we are introduce into the game we shifted the flow of events. Instead of Heath meeting Sada/Turo we were the ones to meet them and give them the white book to complete the machine.

What if that “someone” is revealed in the next set of games in a cutscene? If we are going with Johto… well, time traveling celibi helped heath? Maybe give the Ilex forest and the celibi shrine a couple of crystals?? 🧐
Way too many of these paradoxes happening for them not to be being “created”. Definitely seems someone is pulling the strings and causing the paradoxes… I wonder who, why and which generation will they be revealed in! I’m loving these longer story arcs!

I had high hopes for that gorilla looking Pokémon being a paradox snorlax that was basically the opposite of normal Snorlax. Alert, aggressive, and always training. A real paradox

I like to think that both versions are also paradoxes of each other as well. Each Heath in the game had similar but different experiences. Explains why each version has detailed pokedex entry of the opposing version's paradox pokemon as if it was a normal discovered pokemon in that timeline.

Heath got the books from his own dreams. Sada/Turo learnt about how to make time travel from their dream with us
I never bought into the dream theory of terapogos and for good reason. It’s clear that terapagos is pulling pokemon from different timelines into this one. However, time travel is a complex theory on its own, the past and the future can be considered an “alternate” timelines if you think deeply enough.
I just hope we get a legends game where we can run around prehistoric paldea and catch past and fossil pokemon from other gens and another version where we can be in a distant future setting and catch steel and psychic forms of current pokemon.
I’m still curious on the four circles “drawing” on the ground in the Roaring Moon/Iron Valiant cave. Like if Heath isn’t the one who made it, who did? Regardless of who done it though I’m mainly curious on what purpose does the ground drawing serve? Is it really just a drawing of something “unknown” or possibly something like a summoning circle, or a marker of sorts, perhaps an entrance (like what we thought for the underdepths) or maybe even a protection circle (like the anti sea bear circle)?
What if Heath reached the underdepths because the zero lab wasn't yet built and There was a natural path to the underdepths through what is now the Zero Lab (made by the professors)?

What if Heath was pulled into either the past or future depending on whichever game you play, speaks with the ai professor that went there, is given the page that was never truly written, and sees Terapagos. Either in the past when it was still abundant in Paldea, or in the future after we restore its species with the one we found and possibly others who survived
All of this would’ve made so much more sense if we saw Heath at the crystal pool and not the professor. Heath could be confused and we answer his questions that he writes down on a piece of paper.

My thought was that Heath, met Heath. The mysterious voice and what not. Maybe a Heath from a different time line or point in time who had already written down the page with the equations, and he gave him the page so that it would end up in the right hands at the right time.
So "Heath A" gets separated from the team, witnesses Teropagos goin nuts which causes him to be pulled into a different time line for a few minutes, where he meets "Heath B" who hands him a page of notes in his own hand writitng. "Heath A" gets thrown back to our time line and wakes up from being unconscious, now with the equations Sada and Turo will need in the future to build the time machine. Maybe?

My theory for how Heath saw the paradox pokemon is that not all pokemon that Sada/Turo caught were transported to the right time-period.
Man it would be so cool if they made the Scarlet and violent books actual books that we could buy.
If we take what happened in the indigo disk and transcribe it to what happens at the end of the Scarlet and Violet this becomes my theory.
Regardless of past or future what seems to me is that you create 2 past timeliness before the paldean empire.
So let's say both the Sada and Turo robots get sent back to the same time in the past but what happens is the Sada AI focuses on having more past like pokemon which ties to the scarlet paradox then the same can be said about Turo AI doing the same for the violet timeline and paradox.
This theory not only covers the past and the consistency but also explains the paradox being a hilarious loop of Sada and Turo own making.
Sure the flaw in this theory is that it requires Sada and Turo to be fixated on the books but it's explain in the whole concept of timelines with the crystal pool.
Eventually all we need is that singularity and it's most likely the fixation on the creator itself.

I like your concept of him seeing an ancient past Terrapagos, Imagine if they live for thousands of years, and the one we have is a baby, so a truly old ancient one might be kaiju sized especially if revved up and since the terra blast while terra type is like meteors of crystal maybe he went berserk in the ancient past causing area zero. The "birth" of paldea as they know it now.
GF has given us a hint: The tale with the timeless turtle. The Palace is Area Zero und therefore its "timeless" or time flows extremly slow. So Heath was able to meet Sada/Turo just because time is overlapping. Thats the answer why Sada/Turo was able to meet us too... the crystals does the same. Ans Briar said something about bloom. The crystals are growing! And im not Sure that heath was seeing Terapagos. Maybe he was "down the rabbithole" and gotten unconscious.
Heath could’ve seen the paradox Pokemon like Turo could see us. Maybe he didn’t see them in the under depths, but in a passing vision or temporary visit to another time which could explain why he doesn’t remember everything. As for how he got down there we already know that the indigo disk was originally in explorers possession. It makes sense for that to be Heath given that Geeta wanted to give the disk to Briar. If Terapagos is a time travel Pokemon it’s silly to think our experience with it is the only time it or any of its other extinct relatives used that ability. Which would explain how Heath saw terapagos in its battle form. It whooshed his ass into a parallel timeline lol
At least now we know Koraidon and Miraidon and all other paradox’s are temporal variants rather than regional variants or convergent species. This game is Pokemon: No Way Home lol

It could be that instead of Sada/Turo, Heath could've met an alternate self where he was a scientist and thats how he got the phantom memory page. As to how he lost the memory of who he was talking to, that could be the work of arceus noticing the event and wiping his memory of it. Arceus did bring someone from the future like dialga, it could also have the more controlled power of erasing memories like uxie.
Bro Ttar notice how the book mentions that one of the explorers got hit by the paradox Pokémon. This must be the guy who brought orgerpon to kitakame. The reason he wasn’t accepted was because he looked messed up because he took the hit from iron treads/great tusk

Things I notice when i beat the indigo disc. What if similar to other game that the next game is just not a Unova game but a continuation and a third color of Scarlet and Violet to continue the mission but this time the person we working with is Heath decendant and figure out we are missing with the game of scarlet and violet because after we capture the 2 paradox she said that they are more hidden pokemon out there that are hidden and ready to be found..
At this point, the "time loop/paradox" interpretation is on the same level as the "dream/imagination" one on being used to explain everything without needing to think too much about it or even making sense.
I would like to point out that Heath and Turo/Sada were both the under depths when there transported

You know Toru and Sada are not surprised when we tell them time traveled. Maybe it's not the first time. Maybe heath is the reason the violet book and scarlet book is special at the end. It also the version of book we can't read.
My thoughts. Terapagos started the paradox. When he powered up enough to beak a master ball. He pulled a like a side affect. Same with the pool and the professor. I think when Terapagos uses its powers that time thing happens his not in purpose. Like at the pool he was prolly doin something else because he not there during the conversation with the professor. The professor bein pulled was like an accident an started that part of the paradox
They are not from the past/future. Profesor Sada/Turo said they research Pokémon from alternate timelines; timelines different than the one we exist in.
Heath spoke to us in a dream just like Sada/Turo did. There’s a reason we woke up from that cutscene
Neither Heath nor the Professors got anything; they all got the truth (truth vs ideals) from people who knew what was up. They all learnt about what to do from a dream they experienced. There’s a reason Sada/Turo said they named Koraidon/Miraidon - and that reason is that they understood that they learned the information from us and that didn’t happen in the past. They learnt from their dreams

If the Tera crystals are what allow time travel. What if when a crystal has enough energy in it, it shows alternate timelines. By peering through the crystal Heath was able to see into the alternate timelines which is how he was able to draw the paradox pokemon. The shattering of the super charged crystal swept up Heath making him travel to another timeline allowing him to meet Sada and Turo
This fells like watching the Unveiled channel, were they
telling few theories about time travel, highly recommended.
But anyways, answers will always come if the Pokemon anime reveals those misteries.
Pretty sure the “tropical” place is just base portion of area zero it probably just lost a lot of vegetation over the years and it’s obvious the scientists had to clear out vegetation to make way for the labs.

What could've been cool is that you didn't meet the prof you know at the lake with terapagos, but the prof from the other version. So the white book creates the paradox of the other game, leading to this other version where your prof gets the white book, leading to your timeline... where you create the first one again, with an 8-shaped infinite loop instead.
Could even be the occasion to have an event that could happen in history leading to both profs meeting (i'm not sure about their english names, sada and turo or something), and maybe fall in love with each other, leading to pepper (not sure about his name either, sick dog best boi) being the son of BOTH and being the constant in both timelines

Hey Ttar I was looking in the Pokémon of area zero page and I saw lots of hidden Pokémon. The first one I saw was a gorilla Pokémon on the right of the picture. And right above that is a picture of what looks like Pawmo but could be something else. Than I looked above that and saw a feather that looks like it belongs to a unknown Pokémon. Than under the gorilla I saw a wierd square and under that there is a stone that looks a lot like sleeping terapagos(though it’s not perfect . If it is terapagos than the unfamiliar cries weren’t it and something else. There is another unknown stone on the left of drawing. Idk if these could become new Pokémon in unova remakes or in possibly if gamefreak really wanted to trick us they make a second set of dlc.

Maybe he received the note from another Heath from a different timeline. The larger Terapagos was probably another Terapagos from a different timeline and not the one we saw.

Now, Heath is long gone so that could work perfectly. We do have the Scarlet/Violet Book so we rip a page out, give it to Heath and there it is, this also creates another time loop.
If we were the ones to give him the page, I am pretty sure we would have seen it. It was more likely Sada/Turo.

The biggest question of this game is.... what is terapagos? What kind of pokemon is it? Time travel? That's celebi stuff, right? We got palkia and dialga that represent space and time. So, what does terapagos represent?
Hey quick thought what if what the A.I professor was wrong (or not giving us all the information) about how the original died? What if terrapagos was involved somehow with it too? Maybe they tera'd terrapagos to calm down the other legendary to close to the depths and maybe heath saw that?
What I'm about to say might be really far fetched. But when indigo disk released I believe on the same day or day after we also had the raid event of Dialga and Palkia too. This might have zero connection to the plot. But I find it peculiar that the literal Gods of Time and Space were chosen. But then again might just have been to match the theme and nothing else. Bcoz I personally don't think Terapagos on its own possesses enough power to make time-space events happen. It might act like a catalyst and it's actually Dialga and Palkia doing the job or something along those lines.😅
