next awesome video "universe size comparison": • your mind will collaps...
How far is Mercury, Venus, Mars from our planet, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto from our sun?
one day we will be able to make interstellar trips to see more closely the stars like betelgeuse, pistol star, poxiim centauri, uy scuti?
or intergalactic trips to the galaxy of andromeda?

There was a post about betelguise 'dimming', a while ago, and one comment was 'that they saw that last night',
I checked online just to see how far away betelguise is....
      600 light years away!
The light we're seeing now, was when king Charles the first was on the throne!
I did think people realise how far away everything is!

Here's what's more unimaginable, those galaxies, stars, etc you see are not just there for beautification of space, it's going to be filled with life, everyone of them, can your mind graps that! No it can't... your Bible tells you so.
This is our great potential as God beings in the family of God...

    • @utasajaia5681
      @utasajaia5681 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@emmanueljohna.520 being a christian doesn't mean that you believe everything what they say in the church. Bible was written long before anybody would start looking at the stars from telescopes, it is written by a human and rewritten a lot of times. So, being a christian for me, means loving people, respecting them, including their religion even if it's not Christianity, helping them anyway I can. And I haven't read in any bible that a life can't exist on another planets. Even though some christians think otherwise, our religion still gives us our free will, it means, we make our own choices, which make as who we are, either good or bad, and that we make mistakes sometimes and it's okey. So, don't think that every christian is a zombie, even though there are some and quite many of them. My first and most important lesson from the bible is - “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her". My bible doesn't prohibit learning something new. And it also doesn't give me any reason, to why a life can't exist on another planets, if it exists here on earth, so even though it's not 100% proven, I also don't see any reason, how can life not exist somewhere else, when there are more stars in the universe, then stones on earth.

With the exception of a few nearby stars, most stars are millions of times further from the earth than the sun. Alpha Centauri is approximately 40 trillion kilometres away.
That is one billion times the circumference of the earth.
Interstellar travel appears to be an extremely difficult and dangerous endeavour.
We need some technological advances before we can seriously attempt this.
    (1) sustained thermonuclear fusion
    (2) robotic construction of megastructures
    (3) viable artificial biospheres (for long space journeys and colonisation of exoplanets)
