No comparison, the FJR is a ballistic missile with a comfy riding position. Pretty much the only bikes that are faster are 1000CC super sports, Busas, ZX-14s and the H2s. Some super nakeds might take it in the mid-range, but they tend to have wheelie issues off the line and the FJRs aerodynamics will come into play at 100+
Sorry to say, but you are wrong. The traction control system on the gen 3 FJR's will not allow you to wheelie unless you disable traction control. If it detects front wheel lift the computer cuts power until the front wheel sets back down.
Science_Biker You are right! I researched my comment and see that the traction control system looks at the difference in speed of the front and rear tires and corrects accordingly. Well played Science_Biker! Although, you could always just turn off the TCS.
The sportster had the zx6r up to 80? What a joke the zx rider is... sportsters are slooooow. It gonna get the jump because of the wheelbase and the vtwin and thats it, thing is lightning slow
The H-D should consider it a win that it didn't break down halfway through the drag race.

There was little doubt!
The Sporter isn't even in the same league as the other two bikes.
The fjr is my dream bike, fast as fuck and comfortable. 👌
My man is quivering
The traction control feature on an FJR is simply that. It has nothing to do with limiting front wheel lift, lol

Yep far as I am aware TC works by comparing relative speeds between both wheels. Soon as the rear overtakes the front wheel revolutions it cuts off.
Heard your heart rates and breathe racing a bit
I believe the manual for the F JR says that VNE with the side cases is 80 mph, which makes sense.
Iv ridden my old 2007 fjr at sustained speeds of around 100 mph and short bursts over that with side cases installed without any issues.
Same here, Roger Morello.
Pretty sure its a lot higher than that, the FJR is designed to do 150+ for an extended period, its an autobahn burner.
dude, i can't believe the sporty got you off the line. more practice young grasshper.
the motorcycle that records the video must go last ... you should have put the camera on the slower motorcycle.,
You could of ran it to a 110 In 2gear WTH
Nope, not on an FJR. 85-90 mph is pretty much banging it on the rev-limiter.
Could of?
At 1:55 listen to his breathing lol

No doubt the FIR won that race hands down. Yamaha makes a great Sport Toured and will beat any Sporty or crotch rocket with no problem.
Stop showing off, they are just Harley's lol
I imagined a 1300cc four would be a lot faster.
Mine is.something must be wrong with that one.when he hit 115 it should have been more like 135 or more.
Harley's always beat sport bikes off the line. What makes them enjoyable in the city.
Lol
i think my aprilia futura can beat that fj! my c14 will definatly beat it!
That's one slow fjr, my gen 1 is much faster than that.
i hope youtube delete this video
