- Another year of making silage bales in January which is pretty unusual for us as we we normally be heading into drought at this point in the season .
However its all feed in the bank which all helps at the end of the day! - บันเทิง
good to see the baler from Ireland doing the business
The best built baler in the world!!!. You won't get a baler to fill a bale better than a McHale.
What I really like about making silage bales is you can turn pretty common hay into a much more palatable feed for your cows. We usually inline wrap ours rather that individually wrap them. We usually are feed silage bales in the winter. Our weather is cold enough that the exposed ends of the next bale does not spoil.
P.S. talking about our winters: We have had 12 inches of snow this week with 8-10 more coming tomorrow. Then our high temperature this coming Tuesday is supposed to be -3 F. with the low being -16 F. North East Iowa , USA.
I always find a working tedder mesmerizing to watch.
An idea for your silage stacking is maybe double stack the existing bale stock to keep like with like, and then pile the new bales from the ground in front.
Grass looking good fer summer.
Nice to see green grass as I am on the opposite side of the world from you. My phone is saying -33c. Edmonton,AB Canada brrrrr
far out that is cold!! jeepers, I'm glad we don't get that cold. Id definitely struggle getting out of bed when its like that
We have a massey just like that one on the rake. Its a pretty good tractor
Great stuff Andrew, how long will you get out of those 23 bales.
What if you role those paddocks when the ground is a bit softer, that might help with the roughness. 🤔
There was no spells of good weather July last year where I am from In NH for making silage which be about same as January in SH
