You might possibly legally sell them if you encase them in epoxy. Make them as shiny and sharp as possible, engrave them artistically, and submerge them in clear epoxy as a wall hanging or desk ornament. You will need a secret latch for night escapades.
Awesome to see guys. Those turned out very awesome. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
We made some big 6 inch ones out of cold rolled 4010, then we hardened them after we sharpened them. They worked really well. The secret is to not call them something that might be illegal... call them pointy frisbee's or something. Xmas tree decorations! there you go!
Use a screw (1 inch #8, dome head) to pull the metal cone out of orange Marettes (wire nut) then drive the screw through the top of the wire nut to make a blow dart. cut a 36 inch long piece of 1/2 inch Pex water line. orange wire nut should fit perfectly. Have blow dart fun! hard foam insulation makes a great target! Use shop air with cheap blow gun to go too far and have real fun!
Gee Guys, What tha!!!. I watched all four hours of the shop reno video and enjoyed every bit. I am currently building a new shop the same size. You gave me a few good ideas from that video, sharing ideas on the net is one of the great pleasures in life, as did your sharing of old iron for free in some cases. I really don't understand the value of the throwing star video. We must transition the world to a more peaceful state. Weaponry potentially to be aimed at humans is best left in the pages of history. Surely one day human kind will finally reason that violence's is unreasoned; simply a bad idea. Think of your kids and potential grand kids, What sort of world do you want them to live in?
I went to hardware store and bought a 60T illegal throwing saw blade. The tipping point has to be intent to use as a weapon or to sale as a weapon right?
I lob my tstars with my compound slingshot,. At 30ft. It will put one leg of it through 1/2" plywood. Fun to play with. Y'all take care. And on a side note: a single bevel won't follow the grain.
Those guys were actually dunking their blades in the water to preserve the integrity of the heat treat on the blade because if it got too hot the high carbon steel would lose its hardness and then be a less effective knife.
Next step get some o1 toolsteel.😁 Using the single edge design and after a decent heat treat and temper it should fix the issue with breaking the tips.
Thanks for having me on again, fellas.
Always a pleasure! We'll call you again when we make another sharp, dangerous thing lol
Awesome idea for a video ... and to have some fun!
A couple of guys + something partially dangerous and destructive + a pumpkin + time = giggles like when we were 14.
The best way to feel young again!

Legality should rarely hinder innocent fun. Those things looked legit! Never stop creating and showing your skills my man.

Cool
How much do you want for it, it's perfectly legal in New Hamphire
When I was a machinist. People used to tell me if I could make a gun. I smiled and said no.
Fantastic
does that make a wild west sheriffs badge illegal?
It needs a hole in the middle so when your hands are wet with rain or blood you can get a grip !
Step brothers” imagine if we had these when we were kids?? Even better we got em when were 40” hahaha
EXACTLY!!!
Q: Is This Even LEGAL?
A: Who f%^&g cares?
Very fun video. Now, I'm off to design and cut some star-shaped ornaments for my Christmas tree.
🤫
We are going down town to... lmfao
These are Christmas tree ornaments.
Men, at the point of 6 years, are only growing in size. The mindset remains playfull 😁
7 1/4 saw blade works well,just saying
designing and making kool stuff - good. Showing how to make weapons - bad.
Next step get some o1 toolsteel.😁
