ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Mafex Hush Batman fits in this PERFECTLY incase anyone is wondering. I bought this taking the chance that this would be undersized for his 7" line because his playsets and vehicles are almost always too small. My 4D chess move paid off and its perfect for 6" figures.

@@government_is_violence For batmobiles that were never made in this scale, its more than okay the way it turned out for 60.. People who want premium stuff dont put their money where their mouth is when cool projects do happen, so premium versions in this scale are most likely not going to happen anytime soon.

See what Im getting into? Price points exists for different people with differing economical capabilities. Not to mention how much someone is willing to spend.
As for me, with a can of flat top coat and a can of matte black spray paints, I can live with this hunk of plastic.

Can’t wait! I have the Batman and Batmobile on preorder. I mean maybe the canopy is actually what it looks like in the Flash movie. We don’t know yet, but I saw a guy do an easy peasy custom to paint it matte black and it looked fantastic.
Im hoping theres a running change that makes the canopy black instead of grey because otherwise its about everything I wanted especially for that price.

I'll have to paint that canopy. I'm also not too happy with having to shift Bats in his seat to accommodate his ears. Kinda reminds me of the Batman Returns batmobile that had the same issue lol
I have an order in for the gold label version and I believe he fixed the canopy issue. This version was still a nice find for the price. It's closer to 200 bucks now.
I don't mind it being shiny , they had one used in the movies at a comicon I went to in New York like in 2011 or 2012 I forget but it looked just as shinny as this. I'm pretty happy with my batmobile.
just 3 more inches in the width so we could have a 2 seater batmobile- at least now the cape is cloth - Mc Kenner sure is gonna re-release this all black with a proper 1989 bat figure soon - great review as always
I didn’t have the original Batmobile as a kid but I somehow had the vacu-formed “shield” it came with, so I had to use my imagination lol.
The Batmobile came from McFarlane Friday and my Keaton Batman just hit my pile of loot at BBTS. Can't wait to take some pictures.

Someone online did a great job of repainting it mat black including the canopy.

I’m not into the McFarlane figures, other than the monster types, but the DCUC Keaton-inspired Batman would be perfect for this Batmobile.

Since I am a Batman fanatic I have to get this thing, but I honestly hate the paint. Boog is right about the paint on this thing, but he also showed a tutorial on how to give this thing a better paint job. I give it a SUD rating of... It's not so bad!
This video much like the Keaton vid has the odd 0.75 speed footage. A lot of motion blur happening.
Makes sense since they're from the same movie so same framerate.
I could have looked past the grey canopy BUT only if they had pop up machine guns on the hood. A black sharpie prob could fix that. No cocoon ah man!
It's absurd for Mcfarlane to release a product with a paint problem and expect the customer to fix the mistake and do a repaint. They should collect all these batmobiles and fix the paint and deliver to consumers a decent product.

Hey man, I am currently developing a new canopy for the Batmobile (both shiny and non-shiny versions). I was wondering why no one has designed a better one... and then I found out. It took FOREVER to develop, and went thru 16 versions. I got it as close as I possibly could. But I'm not a toy manufacturer, I'm literally "some guy" who wanted to bring this to the community. I plan to TRY and make some of my money back printing/painting up a bunch before a release the file in a year or so. (I spent WAAAY to much to bring this to life) Would you like me to send you one? I would have written this in an email, but I didn't see an email listed. Anyway, thanks for what you do!

i own this batmobile, but i wouldnt mind shelling out the $$$ if they had just made this as big as the animated series batmobile. i think they missed the mark by making it a 1 seater.

It’s a nice batmobile, but doesn’t beat the old Kenner Keaton batmobile. Let’s face it, the days of really good play features such as machine guns popping up, or cool electronics are all but over. Unless you count all the HasLab products. Great review Shart. Also, thank you for clearly pronouncing the “t” sound at the ending of words, such as in the word “it”. Not everyone does so.

I really wouldn't mind paying $180 if it could fit 2 figures inside and have it Stull be in scale and have the changes you want (the translucent plastic instead of paint) and a black canopy.

If it’s a single seat car (and it is), why oh WHYYYY does that damned canopy have a brace RUNNING DOWN THE CENTER?!? And it would (will) only be more stupid looking when McF fixes the gray canopy color problem.
