Agreed. The Scorpio Nerf was bullshit. Were the NPCs complaining to the devs that the gun was OP? It's a PvE gun, nobody uses it in PvP so it was completely ridiculous to nerf it to that point.
Here’s a thought, players play the game, they like gear they like, nerfing what they actually use does one thing the most, drive players away from the game.
Yeah, in principle, but when I join a random team and three if them run striker and I like to run a healer (example only) then I become pointless as the content melts before I get to enjoy any element of the game 🤷♂️
@@rideitaliathis makes no sense, the point of running heals is to keep your team alive, debuff enemies, and buff team mates. And striker is BIS DPS so… lol that’s what you want
Legendary for all main missions with the factions that you normally fight there . Sick and tired of white tusk , black tusk (invaded) BS week after week for almost 6 years .
I think my theory is very much true. The devs will never allow you to have fun and the content they put out will never be easily finished by a solo player. You can put in 500hrs into endgame and make the best striker build known to man,but one grenade launcher from a npc, will kill you almost instantly. It makes you feel that your build and your time were all for nothing and that 500 hours you put in was a waste of time. You will always be on par with the endgame content, or you they will make sure you are humbled by your "op build." Thats why they always nerf things instead of buffing everything else. My point is...give up on trying to beat the system they created;cause if you could easily destroy the content, they couldnt dish out season upon season to keep you playing for this long.
Hey, I’m with you. I don’t do modifers, tired of jumping through hoops. I don’t want to try and focus on throwing a grenade while standing on one foot when the npc’s are looking at there wallets… over it. Take care Sarge and happy holidays to you.
I’d like to play the game my way, not being constantly told, although inadvertently, how to play it! Should’ve stuck with Div 1 and made the map bigger.
Dev's: "New seasonal mods!!" Players: " Nah we good without em, they suck" Dev's "You will play the mods god damnit!!" Dev's: *nerf the shit out of the weapons*
We normaly used the Scorpio against hard bosses and Rogue Agents, now it´s just collecting virtual dust in the inventory, nerfs are the worst thing in gaming. The day they put a finger on the Memento Backpack this game will be dead.
The day they touch Memento, I'll be leaving this sad game behind. There are plenty of different loot shooters with better balancing and actual content.
Add a crouch and prone option, improve the Hunter AI to be like the division 1 Hunters, Apparel/appearance optimization: be able to add or change dyes on any clothes, remove neck clipping
After they nerfed the Ouroboros I haven’t played since. The mission was very difficult and I’m not in a clan. To waste my time like that shows the devs don’t care about me. I’m a day one player with all DLC and all maxed out prof build. Now I play The First Descendant. If they stop the nerfs to suite the new players I’ll return. If they keep in this path, nice knowing ya.
Shit here we are all these years later and iv still not done dark horse, or the other missions like it bc I play solo 90% of the time the 10% is in a 2 man group.
It took me exactly 30 runs to get the ouroboros. Stopped playing the game before the end of last season. Switch to Warframe, a game that had 4 updates with countless new things to get and do
@@ferrenberg Oh no, you didn't! Legendary 4 Warframe player taking a break, here. You want to talk about nerfs in Warframe? Because it's an entire other bowl of sad noodles, but this video may not be the best place to do that. Wasting weeks of farming on stuff getting nerfed is Warframe's specialty.
I LOVED Division 1 and Division 2. I'm blessed to be able to buy the best versions of games when I find one I really enjoy. I PRE-ORDERED Ultimate edition of Div 2 and have loved it. I was really disappointed that I had to pay for the DLC warlords of new york, when it was first released, but I still bought it. Thankfully, until the latest season release, Ultimate was honored with certain items during each season's progresssion. This season, despite SHOWING you need Ultimate to get certain rewards, such as the exotic weapons, that's no longer honored. In a series of support emails, I pointed out the change with the latest season and many people in support just said, "maybe you need to buy the season pass." The funny thing is, about 1/3 of the season rewards are given when you reach that tier, while others say you require one of three levels of ownership with the top one requiring ULTIMATE. I understand companies need to make money, but gaming companies need to understand disgruntled customers will not support them or any of their products. Do better Ubisoft.
Shd 4400+ here. My favorite activity is making and testing off-meta builds. I feel like they missed the mark with diminishing returns for status effects. As a player I still feel like I get status locked to death by enemies pretty regularly, while enemies seem to benefit significantly from diminishing returns. It's not game breaking, but has somewhat discouraged me from using status builds.
Now correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the whole appeal of Scorpio it’s unique talent and not its dmg output? Meaning, instead of rolling it with DTOC, wouldn’t Magazine Size be the smart choice so you can give it 9 bullets, so you don’t have to go through the reload to proc all the debuffs? Another option would be to use it with Centurion’s Scabbard, which is probably the best exotic gear piece in the game right now anyway. You can even negate the reload animation completely by swapping out then back to Scorpio. Plus it’ll carry 12 or 13 rounds anyway.
The confusion introduced by the modifiers is a problem. I don't mean confusion about what the modifiers do, but confusion about why we sometimes take damage. The modifiers have inadvertently hidden the reason we are taking damage and you find yourself down with no idea what happened...and therefore, no idea how to avoid it in the future.
I now do the bare minimum not to miss out on things. I help with a raid once in a while. I have just used the content up. Ubi messed up and left the community for other games. Who knows what this game would look like if they had committed to the consistent support of new content. I don't want another exotic or gear set. We need new missions or raids or incursions that challenge these meta builds that received 26 percent power through expertise.
The Scorpio nerf was rough. The current rebalance the Scorpio went from a staple to the stash. I can understand where the devs were going with it because it was borderline OP. However, the fact that you have to reload to get all the debuffs sucks. A good balance would be extending the mag to 9 with the new rebalance to adding to the number of shots or max debuffs. That would still make the Scorpio viable but not bordering on the overpowered side.
LOL Its easier to nerf, then to create and keep a balanced game. Its the Ubi standard. They do it with every thing they introduce. They dont nerf the NPC's when they are ridiculously overpowered. Legendary is the best example. Yes, the enemies should be tougher for the level increases, there should be more, higher level guys. But no, they instead just give them all grenades to throw over and over every half second, drones to explode every 2 seconds, all skills going off every 2 seconds. Not enjoyable when all the screen is is explosions every half second. Armor which serves no point to the player as it breaks in a shot, but the NPC 's armore is taking 1-3 million a shot and no plates are melting. LOL Plus everybody gets revived 2 seconds after you kill them. LOLOLOL Its obvious they nerf this crap, so you cant do it alone and you'll go and promote it to others to get them to play, so you have others to play with. Its a simple NLP tactic
@@mikelachey824Legendary is peak of awful balancing. - all enemies had shitton armor and HP (This could work, Legendary is meant for group) - they all deal insane amount of damage, regardless of their class (That's the worst thing) - explosive drones not only take half of your HP but also stagger which results in player death in 90% cases - grenadiers can burst spam up to 3 grenades. What's the point of having cover in cover based shooter if this enemy exist?
Bro, idk if I am the only one, but I absolutely despise the Descent. I want the blueprints from it but I cannot play it no matter how much I try. I would have really preferred Summit to be remastered and fixed. There are all kinds of visual glitches and bugs in Summit to this day and it still feels like the dev team made it the night before it released. Another thing that has always bothered me is the fact that players can't get all the blueprints in general. They should make a way to get all of them and it absolutely should not be tied the Descent like the current ones. Other than that, I will say I do think modifiers are going in the right direction but the system definitely needs work.
yes it is a complete issue in legendary missions. Out of no where my guns damage goes completely down by half in many cases and armor regen is completely not working or has been nerfed in my view but I don't see it announced had to change my builds to find the regen is still not working once you actually playing the pve legendary content. Furthermore, did the holiday event and did not even get all the holiday item. completed potomac twice and got nothing for it. Whats the point of the event if we not going to get any items.
Thank you, Sarge. You raise some great points. Personally I'm slugging my way through the season. The challenge is the hundreds of kills you have to make with specific passive and active bonuses enabled. This really is a grind, and I'm finding it pretty frustrating. I know that this was the big new feature this season, but I agree with you that few people are using them regularly. Perhaps because they're just too fiddly, or because it's too easy to run into an ad that suddenly reflects all your damage and kills you nearly instantly. I didn't use the Scorpio as much as you did, and I'm still primarily using Striker builds. Currently with the new Lexington, although also with the Strega which is a nice AR. But I haven't been running as many variations as in the past. Partly because there aren't really reasons to do so. I'm also playing less. I think because of the grind. Which is frustrating. I have to wonder how many people will even finish all the journeys so that they can complete the end of season mission. As for what's next, I really hope that next season is not as grindy. I get what they're trying to do, but they need to find another way of bringing people back. The winter project has given a bit of a change, but they have to keep being inventive and not just do the same thing over and over. Anyway. Appreciate your thoughts. Thank you as always, sir!
Biggest problem I have is they rebalanced all these weapons gear etc which was a bitter pill in itself but then they give everyone the Lexington which is the polar opposite of balance. Doesn’t make sense.Like you I had to shelve weapons I took to level 27.
They nerf the weapons, but the NPC's are still unbalanced at high levels. They Have this mentality forcing people into multiplayer will get people to get others to play this game. They dont stop to think, why would anybody wanna grind out the same stuff in everything you do on here. Literally, you get the same stuff from everything. Whether you are doing a mission, opening a case, doing an invasion, stronghold, countdown, descent, summit. Plus, you get the same rolls....ooops....that NLP trick of telling people, but the percentage is higher you might get.................If there truly was a difference. You wouldnt be opening purple low attribute crap, running around on heroic. They dont create different things to make it interesting. Nope, instead you find a build that works to solo high levels and they find out and nerf it. Thats literally punishing people for buying your product, playing it and even enjoying it. Bad enough that people spend money and dont get all the content unless they subject themselves to the bullying and toxic soup that is DZ, which is just for strong guys to steal from weak guys and say its what the mode is meant for, even though they have all the stuff and just are there to stop others who dont want to be there, but have to. From getting the stuff. That DOES NOT build players, it chases them off. ALL gear shoulds be available to ALL players. But, then again, does it really matter. Its all garbage, because if it wasnt when it was introduced, it was ruined, because it was being used for what it was introduced to do. Ubisoft punishes its player base. They do it in all their games.
I gave up playing 2 after trying the update. Firmly believe as much as we want a game to last forever, games tend to die out from this generation of live service games. They just need to shift focus to 3 and only 3 to save the franchise. The longer this goes on the more players will forget about this franchise which is a shame because I was thoroughly enjoying the direction the story was going. Don’t think I can recall a recent update “win” this game has had in the last 2 years.
I would like to see more backpack damage talents that can pull there weight like vigilance, I would also like to see a perfect version of obliterate that goes to 25% damage and same for perfectly wicked to go to 25% damage.
Similar to your Scorpio issue, I used to run with the Military RPK-74. It was like a laser and served me well. Then they decided I needed to wait over 4 seconds for a reload. Unusable on anything other than the basic activities now - only because those rarely require a reload. Join a heroic mission with 3 others and forget it. Changed to the Cricket. Rubbish talent but it fires straight and reloads in a timely manner. Considering using the GR9. Will try it one day. Created a new mule as starting again is more fun than playing with my main character currently.
I have always used the Scorpio on my dedicated healer build. If I got rushed, I pulled out the Scorpio, shocked the rusher, and then ran away. Can't really do that effectively any more.
One of the simplest things they could do is bring back the apparel events. Some of us took long breaks from the division 2, here and there and are missing a lot of apparel. If I have to buy it all it would cost me a fortune lol. Just my 2 ¢. 😊
I wish developers would realize people have lives and can’t grind ridiculous amounts of time to just stay relevant…. Also, not everyone has the time to raid or do clan stuff, would be nice to just get the gear from normal play, even a super low drop rate would be fine, just being able to get them as a solo player is the thing.
I have been playing this game for 5 years. I'd like to see the modifiers GONE, GONE, GONE! Introducing gameplay mechanics to a game IS NOT NEW CONTENT!
They effectively nerfed all the things that give us DPS and the capacity for millions of DPS. They said it themselves, "we can no longer provided fair and balenced content." The power spikes and boost creep was just too great. Look what they did to Determined. Yes it ultimately was reversed, but that the sort of things that they afraid of. Yes.. Afraid of.. This wave of unsolicited nerfs came, IMO, as a spanking. Retaliating against the community that said "NO" to the season characters. Oh, and before anyone says they wouldnt do that. Looks to what one of the XOs of UBISOFT said about gamers. "We will just have to get used to us not owning our games." Now.. Tell they wouldnt do this to us.. I said it then and ill say it now. I saw this coming. They are going to make us play their game their way whether we like it or not... Its disheartening.
I play nearly every day when I can and would like to see more random sporns in the missions, every one knows what door to camp. If you run Lincon Mermorial over and over about every ten or so runs the sporns change and it catches every body out which is cool. I think most missions have these different sporns in the run.
I recently hit SHD level 1000 and still haven't been able to work towards a build as I'm working towards proficiency in order to add expertise later. I want to see mods directly crafted and available to upgrade instead of a crap shoot.
I just started playing the Division 2 and I love it. I’ve been playing it for many hours. I don’t have much previous knowledge on what the game was before a week ago but I do agree with your opinions. 😊
I just started playing this game 4 or 5 months ago. I really love the game, at first i hated the modifiers but now i love them. Can't say much to buffs/nerfs since i have not so much experience. The Pesti buff is nice, loved the gun already before and now even more.
The Scorpio has been my "must-have" to help the team survive legendary missions. Even with my best Protection From Elites build, it's still very difficult to keep myself and everyone alive. I get that they are "rebalancing." But why not simply incentivize other weapons and give players more freedom to choose?
The nerfs/rebalances/buffs don't really bother me much. The modifiers are annoying but at least they can be shut off. I'm not big on the Journey. Some of those tasks were so damn grindy, and the later ones had me repeating spots in missions to farm the kills needed.
Even the Devs said that it is too grindy. The problem is the first half was really simple and the second half was grindy. The reason for that was it was for new players to teach them how to play the game. One thing they need to do is if you are in a group we all share the kills.
A couple things the devs could do to draw veteran/new player interests...reverse the nerfs, make all directives available for everything, add all new missions (expand the map area) for D.C. & N.Y., give the story more FIRE (the Theo manhunt riddles seem pointless, Schaefer needs to wake up, is Keener going to use the Statue of Liberty as a Rouge Network antenna, & who was the unidentified person in the cctv vids during the Kelso hunt)...just a FEW thoughts.
They completely dropped Project Resolve. I logged in, got killed doing a public execution, and logged out. That shouldn’t kill me. My talents just stop working. One red enemy shreds all my armor + bonus armor. I turned it off and played Ghost of Tsushima instead. Ubisoft does not keep its word. 😶 They never should have gotten rid of apparel events… people would play for the free gear….
I wonder who and why is pushing these nerfs? Massive was always like this. If you played The Division 1 you should remember the mess they did. Ubisoft had to reassign another studio to fix their awful balancing.
They missed their opportunity with bringing back survival but they had it in consideration but had limited hardware or budget to make a big game mode that lasts up to two hours. Would love to see it come back and revamped again I think it could bring old D1 vets back if they did it correctly
On the one hand, I can understand the developers - limitations on resources, time, people - to deliver new game modes. On the other hand, we already have a number of game modes - Expeditions: Kenly College, Summit, Countdown. Why not go back and rework them. Or, for example, for expeditions and countdowns, introduce new locations with rotation and unique tied challenges/rewards/achievements/other loot. Yes, this comes back to the development issue, but Division 3 will definitely not be released in the next 2-3 years... probably. But yes, the game lacks a playground where you can test your strength, so that it is not something fixed (world, invasions, raids), or the difficulty progression flies into the stratosphere (Descent or Resistance from the first part).
You are easily my favorite content creator for this game. Always a positive, but critically fair message when the video is not about the great/good of the game. Keep up the great work, sir!
This game just needs more quests to do and more secret appearal to chase. I wish there were either more hunter masks or more opportunities to get rare items like the hunter masks. Like maybe have a proper hazmat suit to grind for at the countdown kiosk like the color coded descent suits. Maybe have more faction gear. Idk it'd be pretty cool to have an outcast bomb vest or a black tusk helmet as like a rare drop or puzzle reward for the strongholds. If you're going to make us replay those missions all the time, at least give me something else to do than chip away at level grinding, exotic "quests" and patches. In fact just add more patches to grind for. Div 1 had patches for just faction enemies killed and other stuff. Div 2s are mostly mission based, even the fancier ones during leagues. Armor breaker was probably the only one I had fun with because it required me to strategically strip an heavy enemy of his armor before defeating them. That took like 10 minutes of strafing and learning my shotguns spray pattern. It was simple, difficult, but fun. The rest of these patches are not like that. The closest are the headshot ones but that's not difficult if you're doing a Nemesis build.
I'm the type who once I get into a game, I don't play anything else. When I am in between games, I come back to The Division 2. A game has to have a good story for me to invest my time and I have always enjoyed the narrative for the entire Division franchise. I have read the books and graphic novels because this is an interesting story. I do enjoy the weekly Scout assignments because it does further the story. I am looking forward to the DLC and see where the story goes. I should be further along (currently level 812) but that is because I take breaks over the years. I think the improvements made this year and season are better and I am playing more. As long as they keep moving the story and tweaking the gameplay, I'll continue to play.
I recently helped an in game friend get up to speed on scouts. Mainly bc he has less available time for playing than me. Also bc he helped me become more experienced with descent and raids. It was a favor for a favor, we have backed each other up. The scouts bottle necked the comm logs collectibles to one per week. In the seasons prior you could get multiple comm logs for the season in one night of playing. Now it’s like well this is sort of interesting but this pacing on getting comm logs is tedious. I unlocked all the seasonal modifiers but still trying to clear the last seasonal journey tier. Is this seasonal journey going to be a sign of seasons ahead? Also something about the way that a certain character is acting seems out of character. More so because we were under the impression that he was dead since the end of WONY. another post WONY story development for Schaeffer hasn’t gone anywhere. There are still plot points from the attack on the DC base Ops that are hanging in the air. I don’t expect answers to be direct to like what happen to the bioreactor. Also this somehow someone returns twist is bound to repeat soon. As to who will return from the not actually dead category - there’s speculation. Some are expecting to see Viper because she’s been heard in more comm logs. As for gameplay I think the Brooklyn DLC is the main reason many are looking towards.
I think we need exotic missions that focus on a specific exotic. I think we need an option to donate loot as we pick it up so that you can optimize gear easier. I think we need more God roll drops on heroic and guaranteed God roll drops on legendary. Almost the same loot drops on challenging as it does legendary. It feels like our time is not respected. I am just getting back into the game I left before expertise so if I got something wrong about that process. Forgive I really don't know how to get my gear above level 6 lol
The game is not in a good state and really hasnt been for some time unfortunately, its my favorite "grounded" looter shooter and I've really enjoyed my time with it but it seems like Division 2 is on life support along with the rest of Ubisoft. I hope I'm wrong but that's how it feels currently, pray that Im completely incorrect and that a resurgence happens.
I dunno GrayBeard. They buffed Heattbreaker, my favorite armor and then, dropped Lexington on top of it. Now, its an absolute beast. So to with Dark Winter. So, now i have a CQB Option with Hunter’s Fury + Dark Winter. A tanky Run & Gun with Heartbreaker + Lexington. Then, with the buff to Ongoing Directive and the Rifle autofire buff, I have that build with the sweet ACR SS. All of these builds are crazy fun for me and afford me fantastic power fantasy, without Season Modifiers. I didn’t realize Scorpio took a nerf to its reload. I know it took a slight nerf to the status effects it delivers. But, I don’t notice it because I use it as a back up to deal with Rogue Agents, Nameds and the occasional Hunter. It does its job against them.
Currently I'm just using all types of gear sets and being what i like to call in the lab testing out builds and skills just enjoying the vibe and doing projects and finally completed two legendary missions so not too bad.
I believe that what they are doing is driving more traffic to other weapon platforms and lowering the dependence on the tried and true. I am playing less and less but I am still playing on and off. I have completed the 100 levels and are doing the special events. I am not happy that I am being forced to run Decent or Countdown, but that is how some tracks are now on the Journey
We should be able to replay all hunts in there entirety for people who may be missing comms and things or missions where things are locked i still can't get the last artifact because I can't get into the building anymore door will not open
I still use the Scorpio, I'm just tired of Ubi nerfing everything, it is getting old. I do not us the modifiers unless I spawn into a group that has them on. I do not like the modifiers one bit. They could have added some new missions or content and skipped the modifier BS. Also I am not into the cosmetic's, some people like them but for me they are useless and the time coming up with them could have been spent making new content for the game. New weapons and gear is also a waste of time, it just clutters up everything with junk most people will never use. I guess I do not represent the majority of players since I am as old as the hills and there are not that many of us old codgers still playing. Always enjoy your insight into the game. Thanx.
Like many of you the Scorpio was my favorite weapon, for legendaries I'll finish titdal basin with over 100 kills, I've put together a scorpio build with 24% weapon handling that brings back the reload speed to what it was before the last title update now mind you it's my go to build for countdown at 924k dmg + 74% PFE it reminds me of the glory days
scorpio is great on my umbra build, shoots super fast, outside of that it is a shell of what it was. EDIT: on what i'd like to see moving forward. Yes a new replayable game mode would be great, i loved underground and survival, Summit could have been what underground was, but unfortunatly it really was half baked with basically no room variety no outdoor areas etc. Something else i'd love to see is a new way of getting the descent comms, now i don't mind doing descent every now and again but my god, the ammount of lore they lock behind that game mode is attrocious at this point, 90 comms! that is 90 weeks for a new player! and they may put more in there in the future! Would love for at least older comms up to 50 and then more later on be added to other gamemodes like summit.
Where the devs missed the mark is theres nothing worthwhile to farm for and its a looter shooter if the devs made loot worth while and a reason to farm and pvp fun it would be great but not taking player feed back killed the game years ago
There's been a noticeable decline in drops and rolls. Exotics, the weapons and gear people actually want. If you do get a good piece it has story level rolls, it's a change they have made for sure.
I use to play solely Division 2… but now I check in do some things weekly and log out. For the most part my favorite build wasn’t nerfed but yeah it definitely doesn’t feel the same. I’ve been trying to finish the journey tab but I don’t have as much enthusiasm to play the game right now. Hopefully the enthusiasm comes back with the DLC. Honestly the only thing I really want is the DLC to be released on time.
Well playing solo with Scorpio and Hunters Fury in Heroic with modifiers on (2 short range and 1 medium) still makes feel like John Wick . I dont noticed the nerf but maybe is due the low-range modifiers (30% more damage + the weapon handling one) . Damn , in fact even Overlord is good with those .
@@TheGamingBrigadeTV Cant remember english name but basically are the one who does 30% extra damage in short distance and the one who also gives weapon handling in short distance .
I am a headshot player & one of my favorite combos was The Grudge & Scorpio with Ridgeway's Pride & Anarchist Cookbook. The Scorpio is not a issue for me & the Dev ran her to the ground. The emojis 😡🤬 are what ran through mind after reading the patch notes. & can they fix Determined so headshot kill procs talent & only consecutive headshots will do so not one headshot kill & any place will trigger it. Lastly will the Behind you talent work in Conflict & DZ , not sure if the normal version works or not. I have a clip of the first time I used the normal version with the Whitedeath, expertise level can't remember.
I can understand if a new weapon or weapon type was made too strong or " not working as intended " ( Bungie is a HABITUAL ABUSER of that phrase ) and it needed to be dialed back a bit than ok, but to nerf a weapon, weapon type, ability, gear set bonuses ect, ect just for the sake of " shaking up the meta " OR because the ELITISTS of the community and or developers " feel " something is overly being used so they nerf it FORCING players to change their play style and or be FORCED to seek out the next " best in slot " hence you have a NEVERENDING rotating door of the same nerfs and buffs. Especially for the sake of a specific game mode is outright wrong. Bungie, with Destiny 2, is a PERFECT example of what I'm referring to. 10+ years of the same nerfs and buffs to weapons, weapon types, abilities, supers, exotics ect, ect, ect. 97% of every nerf and buff ( a buff because of the nerf ) in Destiny 2 is a result of 1% developers launching something broken. 1% due to developers wanting to shake up the meta. 1% due to the whiny PvP'ers complaining about their precious balancing issues in pvp. It is literally " Groundhog Day " in Destiny 2 for the 3% mentioned above. Not to mention the PvP content creators are ALWAYS the ones pushing for the nerfs due to their precious " balancing issues " Imagine grinding countless raids or anything else for hours on end to finally get that item you've grinded for just to have become obsolete in a 95% PVE game like the Division 2 due to whiny PvP'ers and their precious balancing issues or because the developers feel a specific weapon, weapon type ect is being overused so the end result is nerf it and FORCE the player base to seek out the next " best in slot " to only than have that nerfed for the same reason...over and over again for YEARS. IF people don't want the Division 2 to end up like Destiny 2 then stop begging for nerfs, but I guess the Division 2 is heading that route because lately their mentality is becoming the same as the Destiny 2 developers and the whiny PvP'ers over in that community.
I had the game mid last year but only really started to play it 6 months ago. Without the Global or XP events I get bored 30 minutes into the game. The Modifiers and some of the Priority Objectives make it a bit interesting and fun as it boosts my xp farming BUT still gets boring after a few runs. I wish the Global and XP events will be there more often while we are waiting for the DLC as it gives me a sense of I'm actually making progress coz I can get my Expertise up quicker which like I said earlier gives me a sense of accomplishment in the game.
Scorpio is still the best. Just requires 2 extra shots for the shock. I think the damage amplification should be the final shot. Not a reload. Oro should've only had a nerf to pvp rpm, not pve.
The Scorpio nerf was baffling. No1 uses it in PvP. We're NPCs complaining? The need 2 add 1 or 2 rounds 2 the mag if they r gonna leave it that way. On the + side, hoping True Patriot gets some love, I run it all the time
I just enjoy doing missions that I can do solo or with friends I don't like being forced into doing pvp or having to find a big group to get a weapon (eagle bearer which I still do not have along with all the other raid weapons)
I found it kind of unfair that something like the Lexington was more powerful than St Elmo’s Engine considering they’re the same rifle and the exotic has a little extra. I’ve been on CP2077 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint the past couple of weeks. Trying to figure stuff out and what I can do with Div 2. I don’t even want to do the Christmas event. Sorry. Got offtopic for a second. But the weapon difference is staggering. A named AR more powerful than the exotic version of the same AR is crazy.
I only play on the weekends due to work. But I put in at least 10 hours and im enjoying it. It does suck sometimes when you look at certain green gear sets and you just know it's useless
The seasonal tasks are so arduous I doubt I’ll complete reward track. I can see returning players seeing that and just turning off the game as compared to the seasonal tracks we used to have.
the scorpion strangely with a shotgun build no longer does a certain damage the last time I played it was at 1.1 million damage with 16 expert, now it does really little incredible there was however I think a Nerf maybe I'm wrong
I like some of the changes they made. I just don't like that they "force" you to do certain things: must complete certain things while grouped (I'm a solo player) or you can't complete the upper levels of the "journey" without using modifiers. (I don't like the modifiers). I do like a challenge but I don't want something that's so difficult that I can't achieve anything. That's not fun to me - and since I'm an old dude, I'm only here to have some fun (to escape life's challenges/difficulties). I'm only one opinion and even it doesn't usually count. LOL Recently I've gone back to playing the Division 1 and I'm having a blast.
I have been playing this since july 2020. Love the game. No one i know is using the modifiers. We have noticed they have upped the power level s of the enemies. There is no reason to reduce the power level of any weapon or gear piece once introduced to the game. A lot of us have stopped playing untill the brooklyn thingy starts. Thank you for the videos sir.
Scorpio was great but it became a crutch in alot of situations, the change has sort of eradicated that I like the modifiers, and have made more new builds this season than the past 4
they can nerf the stuff we players use but absolutely refuse to change how hard npcs hit shouldn't be able to get basically one tapped by a red bar with a shotty 50 meters away just my opinion though
Agreed. The Scorpio Nerf was bullshit. Were the NPCs complaining to the devs that the gun was OP?
It's a PvE gun, nobody uses it in PvP so it was completely ridiculous to nerf it to that point.
@@itstherules I agree 100%
Here’s a thought, players play the game, they like gear they like, nerfing what they actually use does one thing the most, drive players away from the game.
Yeah, in principle, but when I join a random team and three if them run striker and I like to run a healer (example only) then I become pointless as the content melts before I get to enjoy any element of the game 🤷♂️
@@rideitaliathen play solo or find a squad to play with, a few peoples experience shouldnt ruin it for the majority
@ nearly every random team contains at least one striker build. Things used to be better before they got so unbalanced. For me anyway.
@@rideitaliathis makes no sense, the point of running heals is to keep your team alive, debuff enemies, and buff team mates. And striker is BIS DPS so… lol that’s what you want

The Scorpio nerf definitely changed things for me. Before I used an Eclipse Protocol build, now I switched to an Ongoing Directive build.
So the nerf to the biggest crutch in the game allowed you to play a different build? Seems like progress to me
Greybeard Rants are 🔥
The Scorpio was a sad casualty 😢
lol… thanks brother… that one hit hard
@@Kamikazevondoom I read that three times as Greybeard Pants 😂
Nice to hear your thoughts. Keeping it real. My man.
TUX! The legend is in the building!!!🔥🔥🔥
Hey, I’m with you. I don’t do modifers, tired of jumping through hoops. I don’t want to try and focus on throwing a grenade while standing on one foot when the npc’s are looking at there wallets… over it. Take care Sarge and happy holidays to you.
😂😂😂😂 I agree man!
@@aronwright4711 Game Dev: "It will be fun"
Please stop thinking making something suck will be fun.
I’d like to play the game my way, not being constantly told, although inadvertently, how to play it! Should’ve stuck with Div 1 and made the map bigger.
Dev's: "New seasonal mods!!"
Players: " Nah we good without em, they suck"
Dev's "You will play the mods god damnit!!"
Dev's: *nerf the shit out of the weapons*
We normaly used the Scorpio against hard bosses and Rogue Agents, now it´s just collecting virtual dust in the inventory, nerfs are the worst thing in gaming.
The day they put a finger on the Memento Backpack this game will be dead.
The day they touch Memento, I'll be leaving this sad game behind. There are plenty of different loot shooters with better balancing and actual content.
I miss D1 underground.
Same here…
Summit really feels like Underground 'at home'
Add a crouch and prone option, improve the Hunter AI to be like the division 1 Hunters, Apparel/appearance optimization: be able to add or change dyes on any clothes, remove neck clipping
After they nerfed the Ouroboros I haven’t played since. The mission was very difficult and I’m not in a clan. To waste my time like that shows the devs don’t care about me. I’m a day one player with all DLC and all maxed out prof build. Now I play The First Descendant. If they stop the nerfs to suite the new players I’ll return. If they keep in this path, nice knowing ya.
I put in some effort to get an Oreo too. It was my number one go to weapon pre-nerf and it hasn't left my stash since the patch.
I LOVED Division 1 and Division 2. I'm blessed to be able to buy the best versions of games when I find one I really enjoy. I PRE-ORDERED Ultimate edition of Div 2 and have loved it. I was really disappointed that I had to pay for the DLC warlords of new york, when it was first released, but I still bought it. Thankfully, until the latest season release, Ultimate was honored with certain items during each season's progresssion. This season, despite SHOWING you need Ultimate to get certain rewards, such as the exotic weapons, that's no longer honored. In a series of support emails, I pointed out the change with the latest season and many people in support just said, "maybe you need to buy the season pass."
The funny thing is, about 1/3 of the season rewards are given when you reach that tier, while others say you require one of three levels of ownership with the top one requiring ULTIMATE.
Unfortunately I finally gave up on Season 2.0 - the grind for the sake of a grind, I just couldn't do it. However, Division 1 still going strong!
- all enemies had shitton armor and HP (This could work, Legendary is meant for group)
- they all deal insane amount of damage, regardless of their class (That's the worst thing)
- explosive drones not only take half of your HP but also stagger which results in player death in 90% cases
- grenadiers can burst spam up to 3 grenades. What's the point of having cover in cover based shooter if this enemy exist?
I feel like they nerfed the shield. It drops way too fast now
Bro, idk if I am the only one, but I absolutely despise the Descent.
Modifiers off yet keep seeing a huge reduction in damage dealt? Anyone else? A bug or am I missing something.
They probably buffed the NPC's to balance it .
yes it is a complete issue in legendary missions.
I noticed that yesterday. It was like I was a level 30 caracter. It's a shame they messed this game up cause it was a lot of fun.
Always appreciate seeing you here Rob. Truly means a lot.
Why nerf weapons then add the Lexington
@@junkyardjames just wait until the season is over they will nerf it to the ground
Picaros Holster nerf = no sense
Right???? Totally agree
Chopping down the magazine on the Rock and Roll sorta rubbed me the wrong way.
Fix the Scorpio, it was a bad move they made!!
I have been playing this game for 5 years. I'd like to see the modifiers GONE, GONE, GONE! Introducing gameplay mechanics to a game IS NOT NEW CONTENT!
Vidgirl!! 🫡🫡🫡
Division 1 is still popping
😶
They never should have gotten rid of apparel events… people would play for the free gear….
Thank you for the feedback Guard!
A different development team who actually know what they're doing might bring people back to the game
LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS AGENTS!!
You are easily my favorite content creator for this game. Always a positive, but critically fair message when the video is not about the great/good of the game. Keep up the great work, sir!
Appreciate you! 🙏
I wish there would be another countdown, I mean that's by bar the best of the 3 activities (beyond summit and descent).
Pleas explain how to upgrade weapons. And how to tinker your weapons
There were some good changes 100%.. I’m just talking about what happens moving forward
Currently I'm just using all types of gear sets and being what i like to call in the lab testing out builds and skills just enjoying the vibe and doing projects and finally completed two legendary missions so not too bad.
I bought this game day one and I JUST NOW have actually made full builds
Thanx.
Lmao the entro bro keeping it 💯 gg big bro 👊🏽

We love you Greybeard!!
Love ya’ back Gett!!!
I want it to be random every tuesday when the invaded mission comes..it can be cleaners or outcast..not only black tusk for six years
I put my Scopio with my other toon bank, have not used it for months. Also Oroboros.I still have no idea what the DEVS are doing to the game.
Niiiiice
The scorpio went into storage along with other gear the devs got right then decided to neuter because it worked & the players liked it.
i wish the game would have upgrades on scopes and mags etc with slightly better head kill ratios etc
The buffs/changes they mentioned about true patriot etc, be fun to run something different and find a new favourite build.
I think it would be nice to have a seventh spot for the gear .
scorpio is great on my umbra build, shoots super fast, outside of that it is a shell of what it was.
Well said Demon.. 👍
Honestly the only thing I really want is the DLC to be released on time.
a return of the D1 underground would be choice imo
Well playing solo with Scorpio and Hunters Fury in Heroic with modifiers on (2 short range and 1 medium) still makes feel like John Wick . I dont noticed the nerf but maybe is due the low-range modifiers (30% more damage + the weapon handling one) . Damn , in fact even Overlord is good with those .
Then that’s what I shall do. Which modifiers do you use?
@@TheGamingBrigadeTV Cant remember english name but basically are the one who does 30% extra damage in short distance and the one who also gives weapon handling in short distance .
It would be nice to rock more than one exotic. Gear and weapons
some of exotic after they nerf it i keep them in stash
Not to mention the PvP content creators are ALWAYS the ones pushing for the nerfs due to their precious " balancing issues "
Imagine grinding countless raids or anything else for hours on end to finally get that item you've grinded for just to have become obsolete in a 95% PVE game like the Division 2 due to whiny PvP'ers and their precious balancing issues or because the developers feel a specific weapon, weapon type ect is being overused so the end result is nerf it and FORCE the player base to seek out the next " best in slot " to only than have that nerfed for the same reason...over and over again for YEARS.
On the + side, hoping True Patriot gets some love, I run it all the time
Survival needs to return that game mode was and still is the best thing there was
I just enjoy doing missions that I can do solo or with friends I don't like being forced into doing pvp or having to find a big group to get a weapon (eagle bearer which I still do not have along with all the other raid weapons)
I’ve been really curious if you play any conflict if not I would love to see a video of you playing your first game
Thé only time i use thé Scorpio is on my healer during incusions and raids coss healers don't do alot of damage so i doe debuffing
I been working on builds and getting them max out
I like some of the changes they made. LOL
Recently I've gone back to playing the Division 1 and I'm having a blast.
Scorpio was great but it became a crutch in alot of situations, the change has sort of eradicated that
I like the modifiers, and have made more new builds this season than the past 4
My guy Ubisoft is done. Their stock price is approaching $2. I seriously doubt they're going to make any new contact for this game.
they can nerf the stuff we players use but absolutely refuse to change how hard npcs hit shouldn't be able to get basically one tapped by a red bar with a shotty 50 meters away just my opinion though
