Forklift sounded like a hot rod 😂 when sped up. Unbelievable on how to get the pump taken off.

I bet it will be like driving an entirely different tractor after you get that fuel pump redone.

Good thing you had a custom wrench for that. Hopefully it won't take too long for them to get it done. Hope you get feeling better soon. See you in the next one. Maybe you could explain a little about the difference between the pump setting and how it affects the power of the engine.

      The 1855 used a 33mm plunger. The 1955 used a 37mm plunger. That’s pretty much it.

Hopefully they can get the pump back to you fairly soon- can't wait to see what the power difference is.

I guarantee you are not the first person that happened to with the mower. My Dad had an 8 foot Ford three point and that very thing happened to me. After that episode of my heart is in my throat we used a short piece of chain with a loop on the end. Loop went over one of the rock guards and the other end around the mower frame!

I’m just going to make a weighted nut that can’t come off.

Just got a CAV pump rebuilt to the tune of 850.00 but am having a heck of a time getting the lines to seal at the injectors. If I tighten them any tighter I am afraid I will strip the threads. Hope you won't have the same problem.

Did you get new crush washers? The black steel ones are junk. I've had great luck with the nylon ones.

Be sure and loosen and tighten them three or four times. This allows them to seat much better.

Make sure they gave you the soft washers not the hard ones.

I’ve considered pulling that pump shaft but I’ve always left it in when pulling the pump

Yes that lip seal is a pain

I’d rather try to put the shaft in the pump then the other way around.

Is the cast piece that broke on the mower not something you can get off the donor mower you talked about in the last video?

Do you have a video of the loader valve install on your 1600? I'm looking at doing the same on mine.

How rare is a 1955 or really any Oliver with an underslung axle?
