    ASP PRESENTS:
    The USMC Musette / Field Bag
    The Marines initially contracted the Army M-1936 canvas field bag. Once the war started, the Marines developed their own Musette bag which had a much more versatile shoulder strap and shoulder pads. They were considered an officers field bag, but not primarily issued to them as we show one with a SGT markings stenciled on the front.
    The Boyt company manufactured Musette and Field Bags during the war to the Marines.
