I got rid of my SVL90 and replaced it with a high-flow SSV65 and added over-the-tire tracks. I occasionally move dirt but usually just run a brush cutter or disc mulcher. The cost difference is significantly more favorable with the SSV's as are the maintenance/repair costs. In several years now I've never thrown a track with the OTT on my SSV but it was always a threat operating in the woods and really undulating terrain with the tracked SVL. With the SSV, the drive systems are so very simple and reliable. The steel OTT tracks last forever. Now if I was pushing dirt all day, the SVL series tracks are hard to beat with the little bit of extra weight and rubber tracks. But with the upfront cost-savings and must lower life time costs, once you put OTT's on the SSV's, they are really tough to beat. Great video, sir. Thank you for taking time to do this.
Tracks are far superior in most applications. Wheels win on hard surfaces so plowing snow for example.. but off road the tracks beat wheels all day. More traction and way less ground pressure to create ruts.

It’s great to hear how well the OTT tracks are working for you!

That's a great point, tracks are hard to beat in many situations.
Nice through review...
Thank you! Cheers!
