I'm a returning player and haven't really tried the game outside of a few months and that was years ago. I really needed something like this. I've decided to follow along as best as possible and try not to get overwhelmed. Thanks!
Something to keep in mind: IF you use a referral code AND if you want to stay Alpha Do NOT redeem the 1 mio skill-points. Alphas are restricted to train only to 5 mio skill points and that 1 mio SP count towards that limit if you redeem it but NOT while it is sitting in that redeemable list. So you can train up to 5 mio SP and THEN redeem the 1 mio SP and go to a total of 6 mio SP immediately. Note: You can accumulate, um, 20 mio SP (I think) in total through other means like daily rewards, the A.I.R. program and so on as an Alpha, you just can't use _training_ to go above 5 mio. This also applies to free SP you get from said daily rewards and the A.I.R. program. Keep all of those un-redeemed until you have trained to 5 mio SP.
It's not dumb. $20 today is worth less than $15 when EVE released. $20 is not a bad deal for what you're getting, and it's better than a sub-free model where you pay for the game/expansions like GW2, or pay for expansion and sub like WoW

Ah, Eve Online. No idea from the video title.
It's funny how many people call you spy when you legitimately want to join a player corp.

Spamming these recruitment links is very annoying. Specially in yt vids.
The new player experience has been redesigned so many times snd is still shit and not relevant to the actual game at all
