I use a Vindicator with 8 ORE Miner Lasers and 5 Carpo mining laser upgrades. I eject the container, open it and move the ore as it fills my hall, to the container. After I had enough of mining, I will fly the Vindicator to station were I have a Catalyst, then send that out to pick up the container ore. Also the Oracle for mining. Expand hall with containers and rigs, 7 bore mining lasers, works well.
Kinda makes sense, I feel like it’s pretty common for Eve ships named to end in an -er or -or suffix that doesn’t have emphasis. Like Rifter, Procurer, Retriever. If it was coVEETor, it would sound more like the rest
Nice video. You forgot to mention you can also scan down higher-quality ore fields in high-sec systems, so you don't have to venture into low-sec systems to find jaspet, for example.
I've been playing EO since its release. Off and on to be exact. If anything I would fire up my account and train skills... but to be honest, Ive completely forgot how to play. I was always a miner. I can fly Orca's, Frieghters, Mining Capital ships etc etc... however, Im terrified to come back to the game. Is there a way to get in with people to be reacquainted with the game and not get taken advantage of and griefed? Any advice would be appreciated. I have a lot of hours in training (IMO) in the game and would love to come back... just dont wanna walk back in and get hosed and hundreds if not thousands of hours lost.
I'm in the same boat, with similar skills. I found a good newbie-friendly corp to join 2 weeks ago so they can show me the ropes I've missed out on during my time away
Just apply to any of the new player friendly large alliances… Brave Newbies Inc, Pandemic Horde, Eve University ect… they’ll get you up and running in no time and then you can either stay or move on to a alliance/corp that is more seriously aligned with what you enjoy doing.
Yeah even with higher skilled ships it makes no money, you need to multibox 10 accounts with an orca to be able to get anything out of it but then thats 10 accounts you need to omega so hard pass for me
@@jontymonts6938 its boring and makes nothing, you wont ever experience the actual game sitting in a venture in a 0.7 system, nor actually be able to progress outside of it.
Good production quality, but the fits leave big targets on your back with the afterburners and survey scanners - gankers love that stuff, it takes less catalysts to take them down
as an alpha, before attempting gas huffing, i'm making money by mining ore anomalies in 0.5 sec, where i make around 10 mil/hour in a cheap venture, mining stuff like jet ochre. It's not a lot, but it's better than mining veldspar all day o7
0.5s with Ytirium and Jet Ochre are great, get the Prospect, with cloak, you can mine much more boosting your income while also being relatively safe (learn to position so you can cloak if hostiles come). It also opens up ore anomalies in LS and NS for you, as the prospect with its cloak whilst warping make it very safe in LS. Just becareful in NS with gatecamps. :)
I would really lile a video on how to get in to the support roles of mining. Its expensive to start with af Orca, så how would you adress scaling to the support ships and role
May anyone help me with suitable settings for my laptop? GPU temps exceeds 90 and those are the specs: i5-11400h RTX 3050 Ti 16 GB RAM 512 GB Nvme M.2 (This is a laptop so please consider any ideas to reduce these temps)
Not much you can do to keep the temps down on a laptop. I think you can buy laptop cooling pads, which might help, but I'm not sure how good they are 😭
Had the same overheating issues with my old laptop after I put the m.2 in it,the only solution I came up with was to take the back off and run it on a external monitor with external kb&m,never overheated again
I don't care for mining at all (outside of mining blitz event sites), but the production quality and presentation kept me watching.
good job.
Same, EVE needs more quality content creators
Thank you! I really appreciate comments like these. Hoping to do some more silly stuff over the next month or so. So thanks for sticking around 😇
This video was really good. It's straight to the point and edited well. I want more videos like this.

The particle bore miner! I never see anyone talking about or using it. But it’s just better in every way than a miner I. Good stuff
I have been informed that I say "Covetor" funny! Let me know if you agree! 👍

I waan't going to say anything...............but yeah
I definitely agree.

honey wake up Game Done Casual posted a new video.
Great video, I just started playing and this was very helpful.
Excellent job. Take my like.
Thank you sir! ❤
i dont even play that much but ur vids are just too good
Thank you very much! ❤❤❤
Mining upgrades DO NOT require omega. Miner II and Mining laser II can be acquired on alpha clones.
I believe you forgot to mention that anything beyond the Venture is locked behind the omega paywall, if I am not mistaken.
You're correct. I dont think I explicitly said it was locked behind Omega. My bad 😞
Nice video. You forgot to mention you can also scan down higher-quality ore fields in high-sec systems, so you don't have to venture into low-sec systems to find jaspet, for example.
Whoa!! I never knew this! Been on and off with EvE for 20 years and never once thought of this! Thank you for the info!
the mining laser upgrades dont require omega, idk why but CCP makes all skills as an alpha seem like they need omega
I would love a guide on manufacturing! You do great videos!
Me with 285 million skill points looking venture tutorials...nice.
Damn thats a lotta skill points! How long have you had that toon for?! 🤯
