U mean they need 2 make an enhanced, higher-quality version 4 HD or a NEW Series with original Creators' consultation. I saw the next version & felt it was SORELY LACKING n ALL aspects, including Voice Actors. I hav ths Model & Blade's twin brother, Evil Tekkaman. After some practice with painting, I'll try 2 make thm both & put it up on my YT Channel, AniGRAFx Productions. But man! my wrk will nvr be as awesome as OB here, not evn close..! I can only dream!
A local TH-camr just kept complaining the kit's plastic etc. and gave up the kit without proper finishing work. However, you put great effort to make the finished product a masterpiece. The problem is not about the plastic or manufacturer, so clear. Thank you so much !!
Oh you welcome my man! I think now an day some TH-camrs are more focused on getting the content out and getting the viewership without actually enjoying building the kit. Which is an absolute tragedy. I know right off the bat that most of my viewership are not going to be interested into this model kit. But me being a big fan of building model kits and in many ways tekkaman blade was my very first anime that I ever watched. It deserves much love than what it's getting now💙

I remember seeing some model kits in the very early 2000s at a hobby shop and man, i'm kicking myself for not getting them. I know it was a Blade but I THINK it was also a Tekkaman Dead.

@@OtakuBuilder this was the first time I have ever teared up from sheer joy about a model kit video because:
1) I didn't need to explain a thing about this. You got what makes the show special to a lot of people.
2) Your treatment of this kit matched my head canon for what he would look like if Blade were real, PERFECTLY.
3) This character is special to me. D-boy and his crew got me to fall in love with Anime completely. As a card-carrying Oldtaku, I salute you, sir. Gowkaizer got me hooked for life with a hand motion because it showed me what Anime was capable of back when it was animated. Tekkaman Blade got me to fall in love with the genre not once, but twice, because of what it can do with characters, their relationships, and lore. It took me over a decade and a half of blindly searching to find those two shows and add them to my collection. You brought me back to each discovery, first and second, for each.

Oh, and one more thing (sorry, Jabman025). I remember watching each and every show you listed off in this video. Classics, every one. (I may have nostalgia goggles on, though.)

I was introduced to Tekkaman by way of Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, and the series has lived in the back of my mind ever since. Fantastic looking kit, will definitely have to pick one up! (along with a new copy of the show, since I was an idiot and sold my super-rare box set years ago)

I was walking in a random model store the other day turned a corner and saw this guy standing on the shelf. I was thrown back to the 90s and I grabbed the box and saw it was a model to build not an action figure which made me even more happy I’m excited to build it and your review give the most and the anime awesome kudos keep up the work and I look forward to seeing more of your videos

When doing panel lines, what's your needle size, psi and how much paint do you put down? You do them perfectly!
All that can be explained in my airbrush tutorial. I haven't deviated from that settings for the last two-and-a-half years. Just look at my playlist on my TH-cam channel and you should be good👍🏽🦊

I use silicone brushes for armed komodo pigments. Maybe try that. I also find it much faster than traditionall way of painting metallics.

I remember it well.... Was spending the weekend over my buddies house Playing nintendo and stumbled on this show on UPN, I think. Sat there for the whole Marathon. The Animation blew my mind. Had the old DVD set along time ago. I have a smaller Action figure from Figma but it really does not scale with my 6" figures. Was hoping this kit was a bit bigger. Is this the same Kit as the WAVE brand?
