Neat. Now my heroic Paladin character doesn't have to do something evil. With this and the mod that lets you "renounce" daedra quests, I can keep my character completely good without having incomplete quests in my journal.
I like being a bit of a dick to molar bal. When you get the priest to his ulterior, grab the rusty mace and leave. The priest says he's won this battle before. So I basically took the mace, stopped him from having a champion, and left him with a dude who will eventually get free lol.

Dude, late, but never the less necessary, this is absolutely fantastic!! Thank you so, so much! People praise Skyrim and it does deserve it, but one of the major flaws is that despite supposed to being a ROLE PLAYING GAME, it sure as hell lacks a lot of choices and content due to time issues I guess. This and the thieves guild for example, the game has the tendency to hold your hand. Once again, thank you, Stendarr alongside Kynareth and Mara are my favorite divines. Edit, gonna donate to you as well, mods like this are really needed to allow us to role play and truly be our characters.
Yes, and hopefully let us go against factions, one of my characters would have gone against the companions because they're werewolves, but I think bethesda imagined everyone would want to be one so they only gave us the option to join them, nothing else

It pretty much already is in the base game. Spoilers ahead… I’ve done it two ways: first, you can just kill Eola in the hall of the dead (you have to be fast; I cast a frenzy spell on her to keep her from running off), and I also went after her after bringing Verulus to the dinner party; doing that causes all the other dinner guests to become aggressive towards you, but Verulus will join you in battle. Doing it this way causes some interesting dialogue from other citizens of Markarth later. Either way the quest ends, but is marked as failed.

I think I have a bit of a bug, I can't seem to talk to him he just keeps saying, "There's no way out" Btw I'm playing the Xbox version that someone ported called "Quest Expansion Bundle" which has quite a few of the mods from the mod creator, The Immersive rejections one seems to work tho. Not sure if the other quests work so I'll check that later.

I cant believe Bethesda did dirty on Vigilant of Stendarr on Skyrim, they are always a loser here even until Dawnguard come, and dang this mod is fixing the problem
Just a heads up for anyone else who adds this mod. If you get the error where he won't initiate dialogue, you need to move this mod lower in your LO. From what I can tell, it should go below RDO if you're using that. Personally I moved it to the bottom and it worked just fine after ✌

Is it possible to pick up the mace and then have bal remove it from you after destroying the alter? I use LOTD and I just need to have had it in my inventory to unlock the replica.

Mod conflict. Search for house of horror patches on Nexus. Or move the esp down in your load order. In any case, it'll require you to open a save from before you entered the house.
This stupid mod is broken it don't give me any of those options to convince him to stand down instead he keeps muttering the word, There's no way out. There's no way out every time i try to talk to him.

Looking at the comments this quest is very buggy and defi not worth it....just ignore it avoid it or remove it from quest journal I talked to seranna with dialogue add on and removed it

Why did I never realize Tyranus and Skjor share a voice type before now? Now that I've seen it in action here, it's a good fit for him.

It's called Vigilant Knight's Armor i think. It was included in NordWarUA's Unplayable Factions Armors mod.

I use it and it works fine for me. I didn't hear any vanilla idles, probably RDO didn't cover this voice type
