This remix has been with me for many years now. I love it. So much nostalgia. Is there anything better in this world than gaming nostalgia? Those who are not gamers will never know what they're missing out on...
IMHO,this is one of the best OcRemixes. Really,I never stopped to listen to it, never. Years have passed and still this song takes me. Dkc2 forever...thanks OcRemix. Sorry for my bad (i suppose) english!
Excellent REMIX!!! I never get tired of listen it! You can hear the ghosts appearing and disappearing in the woods... misty forest full of sounds embodied by DJ Protricity.... this song is magic....
How have I never listened to this? It's so good, it makes me feel calm and it also makes me feel like I'm in a different wondrous world filled with nice things.
Holy CATS!!! I STILL have this one in my library from when I first downloaded it back when OCR still used that net-radio service to preview songs. To this day, it's still one of my favorites. :D
I know another video of this remix! There are so many videos with remixes that are also on OC ReMix! Everytime you listen to that other version and next discover the exact same theme on OC ReMix is a big surprise, again & again!! It's great!
I remember when this song came out in 2004 on the Kong in Concert album. A classic remix, in my top five favorites. And it's by far #1 when it comes to memorable names!
@@AzhturionMX To the ones that didn't understand: Protricity is the guy who made this remix on his computer. In order to make a song on your computer in like 2003, you had to arrange notes on a musical staff, like sheet music. Protricity made this beautiful song without knowing how to read sheet music, by just arranging things by ear, and examining the files from the SNES. That's why I find this extra impressive.
Perhaps you didn't realize that you can shoot web balls with A and press A again to have them unfold into temporary platforms for Squitter, the spider? Friend of mine had this problem, which is why I suggest
Not better but on the same nostalgia level for me: Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Megaman X, Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, Sonic the Hedgehog 1&2&K. I mean other than the nerd discrimination and the bullying our childhoods were great.
I listened to this so much as a kid and still to this day listen to it at 28-- Man this brings back so many memories

So many years later, this song, this remix, can bring back such powerful memories and images.
This remix has, and always will be, my happy place.

Sorry for my bad (i suppose) english!
Still listening to this and "Submerged in Ambience" to this very day.
These are timeless remixes
This is still one of my faves. DK2 is my favorite in the series and I hear it a lot in this. SO so good all these years later.
More nostalgic for this song than all of DKC2. I had it on repeat for years!
MAN, that freaking bassline is so clean. This whole thing just sounds too good, haha.
Nothing like listening to this on my front porch, watching the youth play their games.
Excellent REMIX!!! I never get tired of listen it!

Damn, this is magical on a whole other level…
This song is so smooth. Fun to listen to when doing anything at all. Yep, all the time would be perfect!
No words for how great this is.
Ever get the feeling that you are laying down in a forest, pillowed among the softest foliage, lost in thought?
No I have not.
Not till I heard this....
Yes dude many times
My favorite morning song!
Long live OCRemix!
I can hear the ghost ropes in the background :D
I heard this song like 3 or 4 years ago,and it's still one of the best i have heard. It's so smooth and cool ~
So clean and delicate. What a pleasant song.
How have I never listened to this? It's so good, it makes me feel calm and it also makes me feel like I'm in a different wondrous world filled with nice things.

This that record you throw on when you ready to get it in. I know it'd get me in the mood. Lawd have mercy I done broke out into a glisten.
@Neverborn86 very serene, in a haunting way... (eargasm)

Listening to Forest Birdcussion in 2020
I know it's been 8 years, but it didn't actually come out on the Kong in Concert album. This was standalone.
@@aninymouse1651 You're right! Makes sense as this is from DKC2.
Protricity never even learned how to read music, last I heard. I feel that this is his masterpiece. I miss him.
Aninymouse what are you talking about?
AzhturionMX what are you talking about?

At last, closure!
I remember web woods. It's the level I could never beat as a child.

Jacket ghost: AH AH AH
This came to me randomly in 2023 because of some popular tik tok with a piano ... this is hands down the best OC remix
Es una obra maestra
Protricty is awesome
This sorta reminds me of the forest themes in Tomba 2. :D
OCRemix
Thank you
Sweet sound keep it up
Beautiful :')
effects sounds like a bird version of paper planes
Games more nostalgia than the DKC series:
@KingZeoX Well actually, a lot, if you're basing this on genre. In terms of platformers, I must say it has indeed aged well :)
That's the point, dude.

replay. replay. replay.
I don't know about that one, bud. DKC2's music gives more reason to be nostalgic.
Banjo-Tooie.
I miss Protricity.
@cactuspiss1 they never will
