瑞牆山弁天岩。40年という開拓の歴史がありながら、その北面には手付かずの広大なフェイスが広がっていた。あまりの厳しさゆえ、ラインを見出すことも困難なその前傾壁に、針の穴を通したような1本のハードトラッドが中嶋渉によって誕生する。その名もHumble 5.14a R。
しかしそこに至るまで彼は多くの苦難や葛藤を経験する。

Benten Rock, Mt. Mizugaki.
There was a giant unclimbed wall on its north face even though 40 years have already passed since the rock was first climbed. The wall seems so blank that it is hard enough to find out a line on it. Wataru Nakajima finally made the first ascent of a hard trad route strikes up this overhanging wall like going through the eye of a needle and named it Humble 5.14a R.
Along the days, he has experienced a lot of hardships and conflicts.
How should we be as a climber, and at the same time, as a matured person?
