1995 is perhaps the single worst year in the history of professional wrestling. Not just WWE, all of wrestling. It was either bad like WWE and WCW or meh like ECW. I've got friends who a big into Japanese and Mexican wrestling and they say even in those places, the wrestling was underwhelming. Literally, the entire industry went through a huge down period over that year.
I remember when you first started doing these it was like a content filler for Corona who would have thought we would have made it to 1995 tho. Oddly enough I'm still entertained lol
Patience pays off! This is why I love Wrestling again. 95' The IYH Takeover! And am I the only one curious about Bret Hart's Mania Record? That is one of the few things not mentioned much besides his choice matches

1995 was such a crap year for WWF/E I legitimately couldn’t think of one single positive thing to say about it. Although with that said, Bam Bam Bigelow deserved so much more (I personally would have given him Mable’s King Of The Ring push), and I hope one day he’s inducted to the WWE Hall Of Fame

One minor moment that has stayed with me for over 25yrs from SummerSlam '95 is the Irish Whip to the corner given to Holly by HHH. IT IS BRUTALLY STIFF!!

2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 were also worst years for the WWE because everything went downhill and the WWE was already bad at some point and still not better than 2018-2021.
Bret has some good underrated matches this year. like he passed the broom test in my book. Although I will say his slow pace doesn't mesh as well with some styles as others.

Survivor Series topped 1995. It's like someone getting 54/100 in an exam and becoming the topper. Honestly, it was alright at best. I'll watch it for Undertaker at most.

To sum up Double J, He was essentially a Mid-Carder at best with way too much power, amd booked himself to be world Champion in WCW, NWA, and TNA. Any Promotion that had Double J as their World Champion would instantly get their Credibility shot. Its Like if Jeff Jarrett is the world champion than the entire roster sucks, because Jeff Jarrett is the best they got.
