Depois de ter realizado a animação pensei em como seria o Super Mario World numa realidade onde o Super Nintendo tivesse entrada para CDs.
O resultado foi esse XD

Honestly I feel like the resolution, framerate, and color count would be lower (Mainly basing this on how Sonic CDs cutscenes look on the Mega CD
I also imagine that redbook audio would be utilized for the music

Hotel Mario for the CDi, for example, didn't have these problems.
So maybe at least the framerate and the colours could be the same if the "Superdisc" is powerful enough.
I agree with the resolution that would be a smaller letterbox and have to hear the audio again

The reason video playback is fine in the CDi is because they built it from the ground up with FMV playback in mind, so they included a dedicated MPEG decoder that doesn't exist in the Mega Drive or Super Nintendo. Due to this, FMV playback on the Mega CD had to be handled through the CPU (though a second, faster CPU was included on the Mega CD itself)
I doubt the Superdisc would've had an MPEG decoder, as that would've driven costs up when they would already likely need to implement a second CPU (The Mega CD included a second CPU because despite the Mega Drive having a marginally faster CPU than the SNES, it wasn't fast enough to utilize CDs well)
i like how it essentially remixes the GBA ost/scene to the SNES-CD one

I'd like this but I feel like it'd be more authentic if it was frame by frame instead of using puppet rigs

Great job! This looks like something Nintendo would’ve made if the SNES could’ve handled it!
Just to mention, if this was real, the music would obviously be enhanced to fit with msu-1 which is the chip that must be used for all nintendo playstation games and afaik can also be used on normal snes carts. (The nintendo playstation was a cancelled collab with sony and nintendo to make a super nes that played cd games, it got cancelled after nintendo settled with phillips and the 2 people with a cd-i ended up getting cd-i mario and zelda.)
Also as i looked more into the video it uses more than 16 colors which is technically impossible with snes/super disc limitations.

Am I the only one to noticed the "NO CD-ROM SYSTEM" message at the very beginning? btw it's at 0:06 for a short time so use x0.25.
