Chris Daughtry has one of those unique voices that is so recognizable the moment you hear it. Still to this day, whenever I hear his songs on the radio, I automatically know it's his voice. I don't think he's ever gotten the recognition he deserves, even when they were popular back in the day. Beautiful voice.

Crazy how music helps you through tough times. Cousin got into a bad car accident, coma/brain injury. Ex girlfriend left me while I was caring for him, quit my job to take care of him mind you I was 23. Had no money. His music at the time when it came out meant a lot to me mentally. Thank you for saving me at tough times. Was very confused as to if I wanted to be on this earth after all that was going on to me at my lowest point.

Lets look at them based on talent. Can he sing? Yes. Probably better tham all in this thread of comments. Are his lyrics genric? kinda. But at the same time he's just matching his genera of pop/rock. My favorite bands are godsmack, A7X, (yes im serious) Metallica. But doesn't mean i can't appreciate a good vocalist. As far as "younger generation" not likeing good music id becareful with that. Im 19 almost 20 years old and play seven different instruments. A nationally certified emt. And a BIG music enthusiasts. Im part of this "young generation" And i know the musuc i listen to takes a talent found few and far between. No more catagorizing music OR ppl. Just enjoy the music or move on.
