Mastodon and Baroness are both from Atlanta, Georgia if you didn't already know. So maybe they drew some local inspiration with the Mastodon vibes! I saw Mastodon in August first time ever - can't believe I didn't follow them all these years.

That's how I got into Baroness, actually. They were supporting Mastodon at a gig I went to probably about 10 years ago. I've been a huge Mastodon fan since Crack The Skye was released. Another band worth mentioning I saw supporting Mastodon at another gig, are Red Fang. Worth checking out if you haven't heard them before.

Your passion for music really comes through in the vid. Found you through Baroness. I've only recently gotten back into them after a long time away. Only time I ever saw them live was nearly 20 years ago at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans with about 200 people before they were big and when John still had the caveman hair. New sub, looking forward to more mate. Cheers!

Thanks Stephen! I think this band, especially since Gina joined, have risen to a new level. I'd really love to grow my channel more so that if and when I do another reaction to them, the video will reach more people because I think they're ace! I'm actually seeing them live again in November w/Graveyard and can't bloody wait! I'd love to see them in NOLA though. That would be magical.

@@melvinthinks I watch a lot of music reactions. I will say a CLEAR CUT formula for growing the channel is what I call "The 4 Horsemen of Metal". People who react to Sleep Token, Falling in Reverse, Rage Against the Machine, and Tool seem to start exploding. That's my best advice, here's to your success. Looking forward to more.

I'm not sure if it's entirely linked to bands. If it was as simple a formula as this then everyone would just pick those 4 bands and run with it 😁 I'm sure if I was better looking, had boobs, kept my mouth shut, and pretended every note of music I ever heard was new to me, then I'd have a lot more views and subscribers 😉 Unfortunately, I can't pretend I haven't heard Tool & RATM because I have ears and very good music taste 😀 And I'm 41 years old.
