If you haven't done so, react to a song Angelina wrote when she was ~13-14 after she lost her grandpa. The live studio version of "A Million Miles" is the best one to see first. Then check out the "lyrics" version. It is the official song as recorded by Republic Records but the video uses animations by her Grandma, a noted artist in her own right. Then look at Angelina's version of "You Were Always on My Mind". She projects her pain throughout the videos. These are very personal and are heart wrenching.

Somehow reminds me also Sepultura's Roots-era sound back then because they as well at the lead and interest I think specially of Max Cavalera experimented and incorporated some of their Brazilian traditional instruments in their already otherways great musick (not That much and in every track like mighty awesome Bloodywood do & have, but still)

That sounds are a signature of OC. My personal favorite is an old one, Sun of All but i highly recommend a song that was a surprise for us all, even for the band of how much we loved it, A Sailor's Tale.

I understand what you mean by the simplistic riff. This song’s main riff is just back and forth on 5 and 4 in drop A and modulates to 3 and 2. It sounds amazing though obviously because I went and looked up how to play it.

Gheeze, Way to trauma dump! Jkjk, Very interesting story. Roundabouts are dangerous as heck. Me and a friend were playing at the park with water guns and we had just got there, so they were full. He had the BIGGEST Waterguns ever, 'SuperSoaker 4000!'s or something like that, had about 1.5-2 Liters of water in them. We showed up to the part and without thinking gravitated towards the roundabout, we both got on, grabbed onto the rails at each end and started spinning as fast as we could. All of this was fine, till my friend decided to jump off. You see, I was wearing my SuperSoaker on my back with a gun strap type dealy and it was whippin around cause of the centrifugal force. I Spun around one time, he ducked, and then went to get up and by the second spin, BLAM, right in the forehead with the 1.5L container of water on the gun. He landed back, seeing stars no doubt, And then sat up paused for a second, touched his head and felt the MASSIVE goose egg on his forehead. (literally looked like he had a egg under his scalp) And soon as he touched it, he started wailing and crying. I felt horrible, And his mom was so upset at me cause I was a little bit older and should have been more responsible. So much for the trip to the park.

Found your The HU video! I found these guys through the TH-cam rabbit hole...I think I was searching for Mongolian throat singing...but I've been hooked ever since. Other really good ones from their first album are Wolf Totem, The Great Chinggis Khaan, and Shoog Shoog, although just about everything they've done is good. Their 2nd cd Rumble of Thunder is really good, too. I love how these guys can go from throat singing in one moment, then yodelling.

I can't believe as a Brit you don't have any reactions to Sophie Lloyd!?!? Based in Reading now she has over 1M TH-cam subscribers and went from making videos at home to touring as a guitarist for Machine Gun Kelly. Her debut album Imposter Syndrome is amazing with featured vocalists like Lzzy Hale from Halestorm, Nathan James from Inglorious, Michael Starr of Steel Panther and Chris Robertson of Black Stone Cherry. Any of those songs would make great reviews or if you want to just watch her shred watch her version of Enter Sandman.

People talked a lot about this being the song of the summer when it came out, but unfortunately for that young people would have had to discover it and pick it up and that never happened. It was successful, but apparently just among older metal fans.

It’s on their TH-cam channel and it’s the best version of it IMO What I love about the video is you can see the genuine fun, that’s being had by EC and the ladies of BabyMetal. They are always so professional and focused but here it’s like they let their guard down for this and it’s infectious 100%

I had the absolute pleasure!! To see Orbit Culture open for the 25th Anniversary of Slipknot self titled album in August 2024 in Baltimore MD THEY KILLED IT 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻🔥 My only wish was that they would have turned up Niklas and his mic sound, but otherwise I blew my voice out and my neck in the first 30 min and I’ve never been happier, THEY ARE MY ADDICTION SAW is one of my favorites, I hope you will react to that one 🍻

Now, as you seem to like a bit of fusion, you really need to look at Raoul Kerr’s collaboration with the Snake Charmer called Irish Punjabi Party (A New Way Forward) Raoul is the baldy bloke. Also, The Snake Charmer and a couple of friends did an interesting cover of Shipping Up To Boston/Enter Sandman, you may be pleasantly surprised!!!
