Today, I'm showing you how an ordinary day in life in Japan looks like.
I'm shopping at KALDI, one of my favorite shops for international foods. Also, I'm visiting the supermarket in the same mall for some grocery shopping in Japan for a simple pasta for dinner at home later.
To prepare mentally for work, I'm having a little tea time at home with a sweet treat and hojicha latte for myself.
I hope you find this Japan Vlog enjoyable.

When I go to Paris I stay in an AIR BNB or with my step family. I don't eat out a lot but shop for groceries and cook at home. I love this as it gives me more of a whats it like to live there experience. Following along with you on your shopping trip in Japan reminds me of this. And ooooo that food looks SO good! LOL 💜 your little squeeze there. Yes it can be fun to peel corn. Your dinner looked super yummy. Yes pasta can take a lot of seasoning. So joining the fam, looking forward to seeing more here! 👍🥰

Hi!! Thank you so much for joining me on this journey and for encouraging me so much 😍 I love to hear that my experience here reminds you of your own! Wow, Paris, that's such a beautiful city! And you're right, you feel like you live like a local when you go to the supermarket and shop for groceries like everybody else. I find it really interesting to see what people are shopping for. Even in Japan, my shopping basket looks really different than what Japanese locals are putting in their carts haha!
I would be so happy if you continued to come along on this journey of living abroad. I'm also curious about your new videos! ❤️

I have a KALDI store in my neighborhood too! It's nice to get free coffee samples, isn't it?☕ I also love ramen ♡ I'm very happy to see that you're familiar with Japanese culture by choosing hojicha for tea time. 🍵The pasta looks stylish and delicious, like something served in a restaurant.🤤

Yes, I love the free samples at KALDI haha! Makes it an even better experience to go there :D It's a bad habit, but we're really having ramen like once a week haha. But we're trying to balance it out with many fresh dishes at home 😆 Thanks so much for your support 😍

Did you add salt to the pasta water? It is the way to flavor the pasta. I usually add about a tablespoon of salt to my water.

Hello, thank you so much for tuning in and for your suggestion! I added salt before, yes :) But in the end, I should've salted it more maybe haha! Now that you mentioned it, I'm sure it wasn't a tablespoon, but less :/ I will try to measure more next time!! 🍝
