Thanks for the suggestion! I'm always going by bicycle and only have so much space in the basket, 4-5 bags seems perfect for us! As out freezer is also always kinda full haha! But I'll keep it in my mind for the time we can make some more room at our place for bulk buying! 💛

Advice on potato. Make and add a little flour b4 cooling. So it forms a thick dough. Then shape n chill then coat in egg and crumbs. They stay together a bit better for you xx

Noodles are too good, I can eat noodles any day and any time too haha 😂 You can also skip the bonito flakes, I wasn't a fan of them when I first came to Japan, but now I looove them!!

It's such an enrichment to our nutrition to discover new ingredients and dishes! So cool that you discovered the Japanese cuisine and joy in cooking the dishes too 😍

Oh I've read NANA too, but it's such a long time ago haha! I also always wanted to walk by such riverbanks when watching anime back then, this really is like a dream has come true! You're right, there are many places like this here ☺️

@@kiraku_ni I just got back home yesterday! It was a great trip. I did Tokyo most of my trip and also went to kamakura for a few days. It was hot but still very nice that I was able to experience what it feels like to be living in Tokyo since luckily my trip was long enough!!

Hi! How cool that you're moving to Shizuoka! It's exciting to move to a new city, isn't it? 😊 Hard to tell what the cost of living in Shizuoka can be... We're living in a more rural area, so not directly in the city of Shizuoka. For 2 persons, we spent around 40.000-50.000 Yen a month; rent is quite cheap, but also far from the station and with no supermarkets or so near us; so for a decently located apartment in the city I would say that it's maybe around 100.000 Yen for a single person? But this really depends on many factors. Water is cheap, and electricity is also decent; but this depends on the season and if you use your aircon a lot (that can get expensive). There are two kinds of gas, one is cheaper than the other, you may want to look out for that :) I don't have transportation cost, but this can sum up. I hope this helps!

Sometimes there are also stalls where you just take the product and leave your money in a little piggy bank. That's so much trust in the customer! But it works here in Japan 😊

I'm happy you enjoyed watching this 😍 The self-grown veggies by my mother in law are really something else. Back in Germany, I only knew veggies from the supermarket haha. But it makes a difference if they are from your own fields! Haha then Czechia and Germany are the same, you could never send veggies without them going to waste! 🤣 In Japan, it seems to be common to send veggies or fruits, also as gifts from one prefecture to another. That's because every region has their own specialities! Fish is also a common gift you can send by post 🤣 I hope you enjoy your summer days too! 🏝️
