Thank you a lot! I didn't hear something until now, but I think when it flies there will be more interest to it. By the way if you don't want to miss news about the heli you can follow me on this channel
Oh my goodness! I am already a bit scared when I see a 700 heli and have lots of respect in front of my 400 size OMP M4's.... And this is a 2100! Unbelievable! Not really for the backyard! Thanks for the great video! The constructor seems to be a very nice and humble guy!
Thanks a lot for the nice words! I'm already looking forward to the video "Lizard 2100 UL backyard flight" 😂. Just joking, but it could theoretically be flyable in my backyard. We will see. You can subscribe to this channel if you don't want to miss news about it.
Thank you. Yes only 8s. More wouldn't make sense because the RPMs would be to high. And it is so light, that the required power is very little. That should be the optimal compromise. 24s would be perfect for the heavy full 3D version. Maybe one day when I have enough money or a sponsor it could get reality. But now I focus on this one 😁 If you would like to see more and don't want to miss the first flight you should subscribe to this channel 😉
I wonder what kind of servos this thing would require? I know brushless motors come in all different sizes but servos hmmm let's see what company is going to manufacture them to this size heli. A 2100 class pfffffffffffft fucking crazy. Another thing I noticed is the Rotor head is a DFC which makes this heli a little sketchy. Align Mikado Thunder tiger XL-Power stopped making DFC heads because they can't handle high speeds that's why you need wash out arms and mixing arms to handle the high speed and the stress of 3D hard smacking down. So my thoughts on this heli which by the way is absolutely beautiful mmmmmm I am still on the fence.
Thank you for your nice comment! Because it's so lightweight it doesn't need extremely strong servos. I chose 3 MKS HBL380 servos. They pull 41kg at 0,08sec at 8,4V. The rotorhead is actually damped in this version. But now I think that a non damped DFC head should fly better. At least it is like that on a smaller one. The test will show it. I'm working on a aluminum rotorhead too. I don't know which problem should exist with an style of rotorhead like this. Never had problems on other non damped Helis. Even the opposite. They flew much better. Anyways if you want to see more and don't want to miss the first flight you should subscribe to this channel. 😉
