    That roller at the end of the log chute seems to make a big difference - ours doesn’t have that

      A guy not to far from us updated his 2000 with that front roller and said it's night and day difference.

      The machine was at bells getting a cab put on and they did it there. Not sure what it takes or if they can make a kit up for ya.

      I'm guessing you mean tumbler behind the splitter? Imo its bells. We love our bells we think it is heavier built the CK plus the single hand operation that comes standard is awesome and has worked flawless for us. High production too.

      +VideosByAl I figures someone was going to ask me that. if you watch it again you can see another log infeeding with it. I had to back it up just so I could get tail weight on it so I could get it off.

    Is a guard over the pushrod so nothing can fall in there on the retract and break stuff might be a good idea?

      The new machines come with a guard over that cylinder now and the fuel tank is moved to the front. Always trying to make there machines better

    Have you ever had to change teeth on the blade? what is the cost of the blade and a single tooth? thanks.

      Yes we have had to change a whole set of teeth after I hit a fence hanger. Not sure of the exact cost of thr blade but think its around 4k and the single shank with carbide tip is about 11 bucks. And just the tip is about 5, you just have to silver solder them on.

      +Tony Ciarleglio I think it's 35gpm at 2000psi. I'm going to guess the bigger machines run a bigger pump too.

    how does this machine work with smaller diameter wood ??

      We will put logs on till I can't hold them anymore pretty much. That is about 3 1/2 inches or so. We just fill the chamber up and send it through. I think it handles it well. I know bells has make a grab arm adjustable so you can run the smaller stuff. I have a pic and video of some small stuff going through but forgot to add it to the last video.

      It all depends on the size of wood but we are about 2.5 . That's 4" to 12" diameter stuff

      So you want to turn the old mats into firewood? I don't see why it can't do it but might be tough on the carbide teeth but better then a bar saw.

    The hookaroon/pickaroon is a good call. Just watched a ChipperGuy video and their operator just leans in to do it by hand. I'm no safety freak but that made me cringe.

      I know the video you are taking about. The pickaroon makes life so much easier. Plus it is safer. I'm lost if I dont have it haha bells actually designed the cab so you can use it to pry so you dont bend anything on the window frame. Little details like that is why we love the bells
