Ya anime doesn't have a ending. And it's has one of worst endings. LN make a horrible ending. Manga go to some point the anime just ends. Anime was probably going to be the old friend route. But was kill off do to LN nose diving. LN ending is he picks the tomboy. Then f up his relationship with all the others girls. Which the tomboy besides the break up with him for it. But they plan to hook back up after school ends. Manga he picks the rich school but says he doesn't want it to mess with there friends relationship. So they plan to date after school ends. Meaning both ending show all there friendship is artificial bs to please others. Killing the whole point of the story.
Dying your hair blonde is typically part of thug/gang culture (Yankee) and coupled with his mean face makes him look particularly intimidating. Because of this most people are completely unaware of his generally kind nature
This makes no sense. It not because he was blonde. It was because his hair was double color. Blonde with brown highlights is what made people fear him.
WHY BRO ? it was just so epic when they got to know they were CHILDHOOD FRIENDS.... she is cold .. but she sure do melts too ... the blonde... is not half bad though
Are Japanese people really this racist. I mean, it's just hair color, I would understand if he looked scary but he just acted like a normal human being and they think he's a thug. I know that tattoos are taboo in Japan because of the Yakuza, but did all thugs dye their hair blond or something? I see it often in their fiction where a member of a gang have dyed their hair blond, but most of the members doesn't dye their hair. Maybe it's because I'm not from Japan and haven't read up on this that I don't understand and I know a lot of Asian countries have the habit of looking down on people or being discriminatory against foreigners, so maybe that have something to do with it.
Yeah, it's because it's pretty common for delinquents to dye their hair (usually blond) in Japan. So, having blond hair in Japan can/will result in people assuming that you're a delinquent due to stereotypes. That being said, if a person was blond due to being a foreigner, they might not be treated the same way as if they were Japanese (or half Japanese) with blond hair since...well....they're not Japanese. So them having blonde hair makes more sense without them being a "delinquent" Of course you'd still be considered an outsider and people would probably still gawk at you and make comments about you but that's moreso because 99% of the people in Japan have either brown or black hair and brown eyes...so foreigners with different hair and/or eye colors really stand out. Most of the time they're probably not trying to be malicious (or even racist) it's just that when they see a foreigner who looks so different from everyone else around they get curious and sometimes end up crossing some boundaries or acting insensitivity...but then again, that happens everywhere to some extent. It's just that it's more noticeable in Japan since...well...99% of the native population look similar (and I don't mean that in an "all Asians look the same" way) so it's a lot more pronounced there. Also, I'd like to mention that this is also potentially a reason why "dyed blond hair = delinquent" as far as Japanese people are concerned...because it's so far off from what is considered a "natural" hair color in Japan that ir can kind of be seen as breaking societal norms by dying your hair blond. Which can be seen as an act of "rebellion" Tldr: If you're a Japanese person with blond hair (be it dyed or natural because you're only half Japanese or something) you're a lot more likely to be treated badly because it's a common stereotype that blond hair (assuming you're not a foreigner) = delinquent due to Japanese delinquents often dying their hair...and usually dying it blond. But when it comes to foreigners they likely would be a bit more accepting of it due to knowing that...well...foreigners have more diverse hair colors. Doesn't stop them from treating foreigners like they're an exhibit in a petting zoo but that's usually more due to ignorance and misplaced curiously than outright malice since they aren't used to seeing people with more colorful hair or eyes.
