I’m running a grab job hunting series over on my TikTok which might help. I posted episode 1 of tips a few days ago but have other videos planned including posting the CV which got me the first 2 jobs I applied to 😊
Beth could you share tips on How to convince employers to hire me when i had a 4 yrs career gap just after my internship period due to covid & family reasons ? Also i haven't done any volunteer job or certification courses during this period but i have watched many useful lectures on TH-cam + all the essential skills required to do my role as hvac design engineer in Aec construction industry..so how to tailor my resume? Possible ways to handle upcoming challenges or opportunities to succeed without coming up across as unprofessional in any way ?? Any book recommendations on this topic to get selected would be helpful too...
Hi, I’m not a complete expert in this topic but I will advise you as much as possible: Employers want to see that you’re going to be dedicated to the role. So I’d advise doing the following things: Research the company thoroughly I know you said you haven’t done any courses but I would really recommend doing one on a platform like future learn, Google digital garage, or linked in learning (many of them are free). Watching TH-cam videos may be great but it doesn’t require any commitment which is something you’re going to need to show Make sure to write about how you would benefit the company
@@BethEliseRoseThank You ⭐ It means a lot 😊 Do you believe that there are any top book recommendations that would also add value to me in such a situation.. if there's any pls suggest !
Thank you very much Beth for this video! I've been very overwhelmed with the job hunting process after graduating but this vid has helped so much :)
No problem that’s great to hear, all the best 😊
The job market is in hell. Ghosting from recruiter and turned down from jobs due to being overqualified or underqualified . 😢

Thank you 😊 How’s your job search going?
Do you have a degree in marketing, or can you just apply because you have a degree in any subject?
Hey, which job are you referring to in particular?
