Hi I want to thank you because I just visited Santo Domingo for my first time and my phone service would not work there so I had no gps but thanks to your video I found my hotel on George Washington so kudos to you thanks 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
As I've mentioned elsewhere in my comments, everything would look much cleaner and nicer if they got rid of those electrical wires, cables and all the clutter over the streets that look like a giant cobweb :)) Thanks for taking us for a ride!
@@tavroaar8173 😂😂😂 That problem has been on the cards for decades. The issue is that any new developments should by law , have services underground including sewage because there's noway it will be done if planning measures aren't taken into consideration. Of course it's expensive, but that work generate jobs.. and remember, construction is what keeps economy flowing.
Absolutely so.!! I don't know who's in charge of city planning or zoning, but if there's anything at all that ruins an otherwise modern city it's these dammed cables.! Repulsive as they are and dangerous to boot, the difference in a clean or dirty city most times comes down to the aesthetics which this eyesore denies our capital city.!
@@PurelyWalking I've lived in Santo domingo over 15 years ago ,so looking at you videos I see many many new buildings and businesses up and of course brings back memories 👍👍😘😘
Muy hermoso todos tus videos felicitaciones. Pero no se que le pasan a estos gobiernos cuando van a quitar esos alambrados que afean tantos las avenidas de la ciudad.
@@PurelyWalking the capital is always going to be that way until they make more lines of trains , Santo Domingo only has 2 when in reality it needs 6 to 8 by now which will ultimately give great coverage of transportation. 20 pesos to go from Los alcarrizos to las americas airport comfortable and quick in a train will definitely get a lot of people out of their cars
Unicentro plaza used to be hot in the 90's as a shopping mall. Biggest client was United Colours Benneton. Not sure why people wants to live in that avenue between 27 and Kennedy,,, It is full of idiots racing cars at nights and the noise is just ridiculos
No veo atraso.solo es una ciudad, que esta adaptada de acuerdo a sus posibilidades, que tu quieres?que sea como newyork?mas desarrollada, que puerto rico si esta.

Definitely, those cables are a serious eyesore
No vision, no planning. Very archaic system
There is a plan already in the works with the city. Putting those cables underground is not an easy task and is very expensive.

@@PurelyWalking The big one at Santo Domingo named Faro Colon. It was only in operation one time I heard. Inside is a museuem.
En esas grandes avenidas deben implantar un transporte como un Metro
