The space outside the room is very open, and it's great to be able to lie down directly outside and sunbathe!

Most people work or stay indoors during the day. The sun and heat in DR can get pretty intense.

Downtown Punta Cana and all the Punta Cana region is still under development. It's not where it needs to be yet but it's growing towards that.

I have been to both cancun, riviera maya, playa del carmen, tulum in mexico and punta cana. They are very different. You want to party and lots of activities do any of the mexico choices. Want to fully relax, do punta cana.

Almost all the places you've visited I want to go to, this is not one of those places. But you make the best of it. Glad there was no more scams!

Honestly, in Punta Cana you need to go to an all inclusive hotel to have all the fun. Punta Cana is made of mostly all inclusive hotels.
This guy came to DR to make us look bad. My opinion is because we are growing, there are countries that are bothered by this and pay TH-camrs to speak badly.

@@gabyz.2585I don’t think anyone paid him, but for some reason he’s choosing to discredit the country. You can verify this by watching the dozens of other TH-camrs that have visited the DR and had a totally different experience than his.
@@gabyz.2585 Multiple Dominicans reported the scam to the police. Not trying to minimize it. It was obvious, as many pointed out, that he put himself into that situation. It can happen in any country if you act like he did. My country is far from perfect, but sensationalism exists, too.

Mexico is fun. Cancun is Vegas next to the Caribbean. The DR offers a different natural tropical experience. Two different markets. I personally like the real Caribbean… the Islands including the DR.

How did you get from SD to PC? by bus? how much did it cost you? is it safe? Im going there in June, will arrive into SD and then travel to PC ...thank you

The ride from SD to PC its about 500 pesos wich is around 5 to 6 USD, the ride its very safe, you can use the bus company APTRA, their buses are really comfortable and spacious, hope this information helps!

Life on the mean streets of DR😂.
It's important to research and educate yourself very well prior to visiting any country. Have an itinerary and some idea of what you desire to do or explore. If you don't, you're putting yourself in harms way in any Country. The resorts in DR range between $90 to thousands depending on the resort and the season. There are many beautiful all inclusive resorts in the $125 range (except between March thru April due to Springbreak). Hard Rock is always expensive. I enjoy your videos....Good luck to you.
