- Reaction of All characters When Seeing Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077 + all Adam Smasher scenes.
I have recorded all the raw footage used in this video from Cyberpunk 2077 game in 4k 60fps using my gaming setup equipped with RTX 3090 and then edited all the scenes in a sequential way. Enjoy!

The fact Adam Smasher already knew you were behind the pillar made him menacing until you fight him
Smasher be lookin at v and jackie standing there like dumbasses but decides to not do anything
Thats one of the biggest questions I have about him, for being viewed as arasaka's dog why didn't he do anything. Did he simply not care? Think you and Jackie weren't a threat or just let you go to see what you'd do idk.
@@shoobzy3431 my guess is he either thinks it’s interesting that you’re there and wants to see what happens next, or he made a tactical decision to let you escape so the blame for the murder fell on you instead of Yorinobu. Made a show of chasing you after you get in the car but didn’t actually try to stop you

@@thomasrose2149 It’s a theory. I don’t understand it because he’s a bodyguard at the moment, but just leaves the room. So no, people who are saying he knows are just speculating because he’s standing there and not moving in addition to a game perk that reacts to his model since it uses the same one as the boss fight.
David *WAS* special, David is one in a billion! Sadly, Adam Smasher is one of a kind! 💀
and thats what makes v win even more impressive. he didnt have alot of mods. or if going off base v almost none and no combative ones at that. thats withought mentioning the fact that he was dying, and probably been in a none stop battle for a few hours at that point espeshaly if it was the fear the reaper run. v probably walked out of that elivator covered in blood.
plus canon v was like david, a street kid who got into the life to survive

That's what i wonder about I know David wasn't one of a kind since that was the point of the story. But was Adam smasher not as good as David since he ran out of serum? Since the gear David had was top of the line I think he might of won given the circumstances.
Seeing all this has made me realize this game makes you feel like an absolute god when you finally kill Adam Smasher. Shows how much of a beast V is(providing the player isn’t shit).
Adam doesn't have the sandevistan in the game, i hope there will be a mod for this

V is built different. Probably in part thanks to the Silverhand chip.
Not to mention he/she took down Smasher as a "regular" choom. David was a literal tank and got demolished.

He's more similar to Frank Horrigan from Fallout 2. Both are former Soldiers turned into monstrous bodyguards and stand at 12ft tall.

I saw somewhere that when V and Jackie are hiding, Adam Smasher is using an ability to detect threats behind walls, so he can clearly see you but chooses not to act.
Its a mod for the eye. It shows you enemys that are detecting you, and adam is redder than a Redlight someone crossed
People think it’s a glitch but I sort of like the idea that Adam is just beyond caring.

The thing I like about Adam is that he swears a lot but does not really hate the people he kills and even shows some sort of respect for those that fight him to the death

That’s true I also feel that way. I respect how he doesn’t shit talk Saul and to a lesser extent, Rogue. He responded elegantly and respectfully. This shows Adam might have some honour. Considering how long he was working for a Japanese corporation, it’s possible he has learned honour, bushido.
@@justsomeguy747 Bushido, being the epitome of modern honor is incorrect sadly. As it would be for all the ancient warrior codes we kind of reinvented them for modern storytelling. But I do think you're more right than you realised. Smasher probably had his twisted sense of honour from before he got himself blown up and interned in a robot body. He appreciates when someone who's supposed to be a legend has the balls to just square up with him. Especially by 2077, that must be a rare experience for him.
@@kieranadamson3224 i think Ninjas from the modern age believe in Bushido. Take Leonardo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as an example of a modern day ninja who believes in that. But, yes, I agree, Smasher must only respect those who do not whine when they fight and do not show weakness.
@@justsomeguy747 Bushido itself is, like chivalry, based on loyalty. That's what honor was for these ideologies. It was a system that essentially boiled down to "do a good job and don't embarrass me". But yeah, Smasher is something special. Largely that's what makes him so entertaining is that he's a focused sadist. Instead of just being characterized as an edgelord loose cannon. He's methodical, precise, professional and undeniably very fucked in the head.
Since Lucy is still alive, i want to know what's her reaction seeing Adam smasher, the guy who pretty much stole everything from her, is finally dead, in the hands of a random merc

Just cause David attacked arasaka doesn't really remove the blame from the person who shot him, that's not how that works, especially because arasaka kidnapped Lucy before hand, so y'know at the end of that convoluted series of events, arasaka and Adam smasher are still at fault for Lucy loosing everything

Adam Smasher is a pretty dope villain. He killed Johnny Silverhand, David Martinez, Rebecca, Saul/Rogue (dependent) and it finally ends with V besting him in a battle

The Reaper Ending, V besting Smasher single handedly, is canon to me
My best guest is in case of a sequel or any other type of media after CP77, the canon ending would be Dont Fear the Reaper as Street Kid, be king of Afterlife, have the talk with Panam with the correct dialogue of doing the Crystal Palace heist but leaving NC to go with her after you complete it and prolly discuss alternatives for the Relic with Mr. Blue Eyes.
It feels so badass to kill smasher without any help and with relic toasting your brain in real time as you are fighting him.

iirc in one of the missions, you need to have something to translate the words in your tech. V probably doesn't have the tech but V probably understands them already

I always liked Adam and after Edgerunners I like him even more.
He gets the job done. Hates fleshbags. Basically a force of nature. Aggressive transhumanist. Decorated war hero. A living legend.

My depiction of general Grievous will always be from the original clone wars animation when he fought the 6 Jedi.
Not to mention he was at least modest enough to offer David a second chance in life. David saying no, tarnishing his final chance to ever see Lucy again, seemed unrealistic, even if he probably wouldnt be 100% in his regular mind

I love the fact that David isn't that protagonist who looks at the villain and says "I'm going to defeat you" or gets scared and waits for something to happen for him to lose his mind and awaken a new power, he looks at Adam and says "will you face me?"
I hate that there's no way to obliterate Adam Smasher, so my guess is that he IS still alive
you can kill him in the game though, we don't get any hint that he survives the fight against V

I find it funny how in game context, V probably thinks of Rebecca as "The owner of this really cool shotgun" instead of an Edgerunner, and even that is kind of a stretch
They just happened to find it on the floor next to Arasaka like some other loot, and they can't text Falco about it cuz how the hell would they know it's related to him at all
Never noticed this before but you can let smasher live. Could lead to another timeline of cyberpunk potential, maybe in the DLC? Would be cool to see him again way stronger.

@Gigabruh So true, some people think it's better to take the high road and spare an unarmed foe or to let him live with the fact he was beaten but in actuality that would have been the stupidest thing you can do, Adam Smasher is a remorseless murdering monster with no redeeming qualities who is genuinely too dangerous to be kept alive and if you're lucky enough to survive a fight with him let alone beat him, you better count that he'll come back for you eventually.

I wasn't prepared to watch David slowly degrade into an unsalvageable maniac. Even if he survived his last job he'd just keep doing crazy missions and upgrading himself into full cyberpsychosis.

I get the feeling that either CDPR couldn't, or chose not to give Smasher every ability he's supposed to have. They coded the cyberpsycho mini-bosses correctly with Sandevistan/Kerenzikov, now I wish they can code enemies that can use Sandevistan while you're in it.
Edit: Time Dilation Overhaul mod updated, now Adam Smasher can use Sandevistan.
If youre on PC theres a time dilation overhaul mod that lets npc enter slow mo with you
They really should have done it just like in Dishonored when you fight against daud and use slow time

Super shotgun mod. The doom gun
Plays pretty good without too. But if you really want, go on the nexus and look, there's plenty
Vehicle combat, car modification shop and let there be flight are the mechanical mods that come to mind. I also play with some combat rebalance always, to make the shots count more and enemies less spongy. Also check out erebusequity cyberware mods.(for visuals)
I recommend waiting for the expansion, it seems that the major changes they were working on will be released with it

My cyberware's threat detector went off as soon as Smasher looked at the pillar. He knew we were there the entire time. Made it obvious that Yorinobu set the entire thing up to pass the blame for killing his father.
Honestly, Adam Smasher seems more formidable and dangerous in edgerunners than what I have seen from the game.
In the Fear the reaper ending. Technically, it’s Johnny and V both together who kills Smasher… single handedly.
But in canon, Adam smasher gets defeat severally or gets killed brutally by Johnny or V regardless.
It was so funny the theory that came with Adam Smasher seeing you, which seems 100 percent reality with his cyberware, at the time I was a hundred percent convinced when first playing this gig before all that, that Adam Smasher was staring right at me.

I don’t believe this is the real Adam Smasher but the clone because he’s so easy to kill with gun and smaller, while the Adam Smasher in the anime series is a damn giant tank and an explosion proof.
Nah they just didn’t code him right or just put enough effort into it, which looking back at the launch, it wasn’t too uncommon to see, lore wise he does get defeated by V
I love how when Adam who probably just jumped from one of the top floors of the tower slams in front of the Delman and it thinks there is a road block there, then proceeds to ram two cars out of the way getting away from him 😂😂😂

Idk about everyone else but I prefer the english dub of Cyberpunk Edgerunners vastly over the japanese dub. Trigger has always had a great streak with casting good english voice actors and it fits really well into their writing since they do a really good job portraying profanity that just doesn't hit as hard in the japanese versions. If any of ya'll have watched the sub of edgerunners I reccomend experiencing the english dub, you won't regret it.

i pondered how V who has less augmentation than David (probably more than Johnny by abit)...able to defeat Adam Smasher who is by far the most troublesome character to deal with within NC. i just got a feeling DLCs will somehow bring back Adam Smasher so we can kill him again.
There's a good chance he's just a construct that's getting put into fully borg'd bodies.
So there's basically no way to tell if he's the same person every time with so little actual "person" left. Hell, even his voice is entirely synthetic, and that's the only recognizable part about him.
