It was VERY WELL done! You're absolutely right! It was like werewolf martial arts lol! He put on a whupass clinic! I would have eased on out the door after the first couple of victims! No point in sticking around man!
@@DetectiveConackThe main difference is that Beast still doesn't go feral. He roars for intimidation and swats people with his paws. But Jack was doing combos that led to him dissembling and dissecting muthafuckas.
Giacchino DEFINITELY did this character justice!!! I LOVED IT! Dude can fight his hairy tail off! I bet those guards realized that they were on the WRONG side pretty quickly. They don messed up royally. Bit off more than they could chew! He's a masterful fighter. Can't wait until they match him up with a more powerful opponent! That'll be the bomb. I've been waiting on Werewolf By Night to be properly handled on film for a looong time! This was nicely done! I was 15 when I started reading and drawing this awesome comic. Means a lot to me to see it done well. Time for a full length movie soon. Fingers crossed! This is more like it MCU!!!
Jack Russell/Werewolf 🐺 is a very fascinating Halloween-related beast hero alongside Kirk Langstrom/Vampire Batman 🦇. For those who don't know his origin, here's a brief summary: Jack's ancestor, Grigory Russoff, was the first to bring lycanthropy among the family to his avenge his wife, Louisa. Since then, that curse was passed on to the bloodline. Jack suffered from the curse due to how it caused harm to others. But eventually, he learned to live with it and used the curse for crime-fighting. I must admit he performed himself in the spotlight here and in Ultimate Spider-Man!
Superb adaptation, and they really bring out the ferocity of the werewolf. I used to have Werewolf by Night comics. I always loved the monsters and WW by night was my fave.
@@JJ-oq3tz Again, debatable. If you believe him to be the scariest then that's your opinion. But objectively speaking, there are far more terrifying characters in the world of fiction.
2:20 he looks exactly like the half transformed David werewolf from An American Werewolf in London. David Mcnaughton was the actor. I think this was an intentional nod/reference
Come Marvel, and let's get a Midnight Sons or a Legion Of Monsters already. I'm dying to see Marvel's horror characters come together for an all-out epic battle! Just imagine Ghost Rider,Man Thing, Werewolf By Night, Morbius, Blade, Moon Knight, and Elsa Bloodstone together! It would be crazy!

Its been 2 years since this limited show came out and its still probably the best MCU project made post Endgame
I agree
And the most non talked about or known of why didnt this get the same hype as all the others
God, I love the way he fights. It's all the skill of a human with the ferocity and brutality of an animal.

Exactly. Want to see more
Dude watching Thing and Wolf just being bros warms my blackheart
The way he moved in his werewolf form reminds me of Beast from X-men
I know he seemed less like a wolf and more like a pure beast

Wow that wolf makeup is incredible! You can hardly recognize Gael. But his eyes are unmistakable.
Watched this for the first time last night. I had never heard of it before, and WOW what a brilliant film! I hope to see more in this style!
Glad you enjoyed it!
He is gonna make an excellent edition to later stories involving monsters and supernatural beings ❤
Especially with Ghost Rider because they team up a lot in the comics.

I hope the MCU could create a series of Werewolf by Night presentations for future Halloween Days.
me too!
Jacks got this incredible degree of superhuman agility but he isn't afraid to use his strength and or rip a mothafuckas throat out if he has too
i can believe a musician (the guy who made the OST for Incredibles, the batman and 20 more films) made a better movie than marvel in 4 years
It's his first time too.

From the makeup to the action and gore, this reminds me a lot of Benicio Del Toro's wolfman.
I love 🥰 him so much ❤
Always amazed me in these Disney MARVEL adaptations how when guns and heavy weapons have no affect ....go straight t o Karate !

Naughton, not McNaughton.

This seems interesting. Wtf why isn't more avant garde stuff being floated for the flagging MCU instead of Iron Man remakes over and over again?
I thought it was cool how he held a classic vintage Werewolf look but still modern at the same time.
Marvel really cooked with this thing

Hector Rivera after Coco.

The Adventures of Elsa BLOODSTONE: A Halloween Special
Is that the thing
Man-Thing
Was he fighting the TVA???
No, those were Verussa Bloodstone’s bodyguards.
why cant they make the werewolf look like the vanhellsing one its not to hard to make a werewolf look cool this looks stupid.
It would be much cooler mate. But I think they based this Jack Russell on his comic appearance
Yes in his first comics his wolf face actually looked more ape like a short rounded muzzle like a chimp but with fangs.
He actually does have a Van Helsing type transformation but that is his second form.
is a tribute to the original movies of the Werewolf plus you have all the budget on manthing who is CGI
read the info . . .
Not!!!!! A werewolf!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡
The director wants to do the effects similar to the original black and white werewolf movies.
