This is so crazy I was watching the video on hair styles for jui jitsu and I clicked this one, and I realized I train with the girl you went up against . You did so good btw
I have nothing but respect for you. Rolling and having such a great attitude both in general and in defeat is sadly becoming less common. I also give you mad props for attempting the submission (that is also becoming less common in IBJJF rules). I'm not a world class practitioner myself but I would have liked to see you stay heavier during transitions. I wish you the best in future events and look forward to seeing them. OOOOSSSS!
I'm 31 going on 32 and my husband has some experience with jiu jitsu and naturally I feel like I've had a nack for it especially when him and I are rolling around and I just want to know what advice you have as a female on where to start ?
Great match! Sorry to take two and a half years to discover your channel, Marjorie! Hey, this is the last match you have uploaded, are you not training and competing any more? You're never too old to rock and ROLL!
zhenetha clary Jiu-jitsu is an awesome journey. There will be good days as well as bad, but stick with it!! I'm planning to continue my journey and make more videos, just as soon as I have this baby (due very soon).
Copy those supportive comments from Lisa Gonzalez for me, too ... I don't patronize people ... I just say what I mean and I can say you did a great job out there going full-blast as anyone can see ... So forget about who "won" ... Your talent and commitment made a winner out of you, regardless ... LOTS of admiration and shout-out's flowing your way ...
Good job girl, my hat's off to you! You looked really good out there. You certainly didn't get your ass handed to you, just the little mistakes like you said. I could taste that armbar for you lol. Also, those young girls are no joke! Are you going to do the masters in August...

Thanks Liza! Those women are definitely tough!! Yep, gonna aim for Masters in August.
Awesome! If you haven't done it already, I would love for you to do a video about competition nerves. I get them bad!!! Lol
+Liza Gonzalez For sure! That's a great idea for a video. I got some good stories on that from my own nerves at competitions lol :-)
