- In this Episode I drive the road from Johannesburg to Upington and even further. I drive through Ventersdorp, Coligny, Biesiesvlei, Sannieshof, Delareyville, Vryburg, Kuruman, Kathu, Olifantshoek, Upington, Keimoes, Kakamas, Pofadder and end my journey in Aggeneys.
I also stopped at a railway bridge and found that later it was destroyed due to a train that has derailed. I also included an updated on the Water Wheel at Keimoes.

This videos of the roads trips are really enjoyable to watch and are so helpful when wanting info on road conditions and different routes and to just see the scenery. We recently did the route that you took from JHB to CPT, what an awesome route to take.

Practice… usually do a 1000km in a day. Made it a bit shorter this time, but stopping and filming takes time. Wanted to do this video for a while now…

I would suggest the following. First stop can be at Vryburg, just after the turnoff coming from De la Reyville. There is also another stop between Vryburg and Kuruman. Next stop can be at Olifantshoek at the Engen (note some of them you will have to pay). Then again at the Engen in Upington (or even the mall). Past Upington you can stop at the Caltex in Kakamas.
