After a brief visit to Augrabies I decided to take the back roads to my accomodation at Khamkirri. I drive from Augrabies over the Benede Orange River Bridge and then onto the Blouputs Pass and passed Riemvasmaak on my way to my final destination. Looks good - are there camping facilities nearby?
They dont have camping, but do offer a night drive from time to time and then you can camp. Should be able to find something in a 50 km radius.

ABS is in the event you would lock your breaks. ABS is practically a fail safe for if you don’t apply the “perfect pressure”. It’s like what’s the purpose of a gun safety if you’re not gonna pull the trigger anyways? Or What’s the point of helmets? All you have to do is avoid the crash 🤣

We did it 2 years ago driving from Riemvasmaak to Blouputs but we were to in a hurry as we wanted to go to Augrabies before leaving for Pella. Would have to go back to do it again..

HI very nice. Must say the road conditions looks quite good. Just a quick question. How is the options for a comfort brake ( aka toilet ) with a wife and kids traveling along ?
Hi Frik, Thank you, I would suggest the following. First stop can be at Vryburg, just after the turnoff coming from De la Reyville. There is also another stop between Vryburg and Kuruman. Next stop can be at Olifantshoek at the Engen (note some of them you will have to pay). Then again at the Engen in Upington (or even the mall). Past Upington you can stop at the Caltex in Kakamas.

Yes, there is. close to the shop and where the trail to the bridge begin there is a small beach. If you want a large beach the one close to Nature's Valley looks great. We will try in when we go there again (this year the weather was not that great when we were at nature's valley).

In my car only 1 wheel is getting locked due to which the car is skiding the rear right wheel. I changed 2 abs but still problem not solved
Best would be to take it in to a dealer to have it checke out.
