- Please Like, Subscribe & Share. A Step by Step Tutorial on how I created this Ocean piece. Lots of Depth, Movement & Emotions captured. The Colour Me Happy Pigment are stunning to work with, they added so much depth. It's my new favourite piece. I love the added white pebbles they really set off the colour and composition. The shells added are ones I collected on each holiday so I have a special connection to them. This is designed for Beginners or New to Resin, or for People who want to understand my full process.

Sharon I do have to say this is my favorite piece that you have done with ocean so far! When you got finished with the first layer of waves and said you were going to play around with the second layer, I was like no no I love it! Then when I saw what you did with the second layer of waves… I said to myself this is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing! I definitely love the waves better this second time you did them! Can’t wait to see some of your new videos! Liz😊💗👍🏼

Sharon, that is an amazing, I love every aspect of sea theme. It brings out the true colours and movement, which I really appreciate. Best piece I have seen so far. I will put it into practice on a table that I have. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge and skills. Have an amazing Happy New Year 2024 🎊🥳🎉🎆❤️
Absolutely gorgeous
I have to say that right up to the half way / or 3//4 Mark I thought, oh no! Get rid of all those waves! Then ..... omgosh!’ How fabulously you fixed it all n beautifully blended it all. Love loved it!!
You and me both! but the depth and movement they created underneath added so much value. The good thing with Resin is another layer can fix or bring it all together. Glad you stuck with it till the end. Thanks for watching and the comment.
LOVED IT. Thank you for actually talking and explaining as you go.
You Are Awesome.

Another Great Ocean Picture...WOW!
Sharon...your Amazing!
Thank you Karen glad you enjoyed this piece ❤️
Just a perspective: You had a couple rolling white caps that looked so COOL, but you blew them out. I looks very turbulent too close to the shore which should be calmer...and lastly, I think you could try you blowing the white towards the shoreline ? LOVe the colors
!!
Great points! I love looking back over my videos edits because then I am like, damn if I could have a rewind button. When you are in it sometimes you're too close and miss beauty. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
You made an angry ocean and I love it. I live on a beach in Central Queensland in the sub tropics. We are on a 20 kilometre beach where the giant sea turtles come to lay their eggs. Then around December to February we watch the babies hatch and run to the water. I have always lived near the sea but all over Australia. We don’t have a sea that looks like yours because the Great Barrier Reef goes across our beach. It calms our waves and as most days are warm and sunny it goes from bright blue to pale green. Or in a Cyclone it turns beige with fluffy beige bubbles on top. Only my husband would go to take close up photos not knowing the reason he was being blown over was because it was a Cyclone. The ocean has always healed my soul. You have captured the oceans at the bottom of Australia that I love equally. It is truly beautiful and when you started I didn’t think it would be but you very quickly had me intrigued. This is the first of your video’s I have seen and I am now a new subscriber, thank you. I just wish your husband had brought some of those pigments over to sell. We have trouble getting anything, every paint or resin comes by mail. My husband is a Brit, I might send him to visit a few relatives he just found and a shopping list. Yes, I found your tutorial very helpful and I enjoyed it very much. Don’t fix those dots, no ocean is perfect. 🌷
I do love a wild ocean, the movement speaks to me. Sound subline where you live, i can connect to the ocean soothing your soul. I always feel much better for being near it. I am glad i caught your attention and you subscribes. Thank you so much, I spent 16yr in WA so Australia is special to me, I will be returning in a few year. I think I will set up a tent near the ocean to make up for the 6 yrs away from it LOL. Wise words on the DOTS, When we next visit family over there I should bring over the items people struggle with. Thank you for taking the time to leave a valued message.
Sensational and emotionally charged piece. ♥️🇺🇸💙

I'm gonna give this a go very soon. You inspire me to come out of my comfort zone. I love this!
Holds hand out to pull you out of your comfort zone. I believe in you, you got this.
Wow another gorgeous masterpiece! First I thought of that green is just not going to work LOL goes to show what a novice knows and what the artist knows! I like it cuz it's different and such a rough sea!
Thanks so much 😊 The thing with resin is to go on a journey and you are building layers and depth so it gos through journey right until the last layer.
Your talent is really amazing Sharron many blessings to you and thanks for your devotion, enthusiasm and all the efforts on your very inspirational tutorials 👏👏👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺❤️
You are so welcome, thank you for your support and kind words. Blessings to you also.
Coronado Beach in San Diego is called Silver Strand Beach because it glitters.😊😁 It’s from all the mica in the water. It is so beautiful when a wave is curling and the sun is behind catching the mica that’s sideways and sparkling like stars! LOL l love the sparkles, too
It does sparkle, sharon would luv it and all the sand dollars
Constance Crispell 😊👍I found that if I waded into the water by lifting my legs high and pointing my toes like a ballerina, the sand isn’t stirred up so much and you can see into the water to pick up starfish and sand dollars and sand dimes😁. Loved living there!
Sounds amazing, glistening water like stars. A place I would love to visit
It does sound amazing
Sharon Lindley - Vividdays 😊

Rearly Awesome realistic Work 😍🤩
Thanks ✌️ appreciate that feedback and your support
Thank you for this tutorial. I immediately ordered some ‘colour me happy’ pigments. It took a while to get here (New Zealand), but Monica knew with the current state of the world it wasn’t going to be overnight. She included some extra pigments as well for me to try...absolutely super customer service, it put a huge smile on my face as I haven’t tried dry pigments yet. I’m off to my studio...😊
Glad it was helpful! They are amazing pigments, you will enjoy creating with them. Monica is the best, let me know what you created and how you like them.
I really like this ocean. Beautiful. Congratulations. From Orlando USA
Thank you very much! waving over to your in Orlando. Have a wonderful week
This is so beautiful ❤️🇩🇰
Thank you very much for the beautiful comment. ❤️❤️ have a wonderful day.
I love the green. I am glad to see you do blue and green oceans, as we do have both on this beautiful earth. I would have to say I don't like so many white waves. I would prefer to see some of the deep green or blue ocean, but as you said, "it's a personal choice". I loved how this piece turned out. Thanks again for sharing your talents through these videos. 😊❤🐨
I so agree and yes its hard with the waves for restraint for me lol. I love how they look so I never go for realism. Let me know how your ones go.
Beautiful, best one I've seen
Wow, thank you!
@@SharonLindleyVividDaysArt hi just a suggestion you could use silicone caulk, let it dry to protect the resin from coming through. Great video. Looking to starting this new hobby for gifts for my grandchildren.
Wow, too funny, I just bought some white rock while I was in Australia...and this is what I was going to do with them. And of course add some Australian shells. Turned out so beautiful, love it.
It was great to see photos of you in OZ, glad you brought some white pebbles back, I am sure you will create something amazing. Looking forward to seeing your piece, also thanks for watching this one. Have a beautiful weekend.
Hi Sharon I have a resin tip when working with stones and gems if you take a plate put your stones or gems on them and pour a little resin on them then put them on your piece it will keep them from moving around.
wow love it and does look real
Thank you for sharing your tip, I may have to make use of that, thanks for watching
That's the best piece I have seen ! Great job, I hope I can get a little effect trying this
You can do it! just keep practising and thank you so much also
