Huge thanks to @WeightliftingHouse for capturing this feat in such an exciting way. Rahmat's world record is impressive on it's own, but huge props to you guys highlighting it in such a spectacular fashion. Love from India.
Beautiful C&J. Two things I noticed: Massive third pull with big head movement and shoulder shrug. Time under the bar is reduced to a minimum, no bar bounce, bring it to a stop and straight into jerk.
Congratulations to Rahmat, to his coach as well. I see his coach who also his father is the one who make him looking great as we saw right now... he's done beautiful job over there ❤
I think you are underrating how conditioned these athletes are if you think doubles or triples at below 60% should tire them out. They’re prepped to go for max lifts with only 2 min in between attempts
As a natural powerbuilder I've learnt alot from watching these guys train, and especíally the mental attitude towards the weights. It's like a combination of casuality and antagonism. Unfortunately ommercial gyms hate it when you train that way

The way he handles 70kg clean during the warm up was ridiculous, he only used his arms, no legs, no hips, that was ridiculous, I need all my body parts to clean 70. He made it look like a toothpick.
Grips and rips 209, catches it at parallel and rides it down before practically jumping out of the hole, doesn’t even catch his breath before launching the bar into the air with ease and catching it overhead. He had strength enough to maybe hit 212 on the day. Oh, I almost forgot that he didn’t even weigh close to the class limit. Dude is an animal
209 at 76 maybe the best C&J in decades? Rahimov's 214 at 77 is the only one I can think of right away that is more crazy, but considering it arguably shouldn't have counted because of the sloppiness and lack of stability and it actually technically got reversed for him having a doppelganger, Rahmat's is arguably more impressive.
