How to quickly and easily aim headlights. Be able to see while driving without blinding others!

In this video I will show you a simply, easy method to aim headlights. We will be aiming headlights in a 2010 Chevy Malibu. This general method will work will most cars.

I am watching from nova scotia ,Canada I have the same problem with the right front side being higher and I get a lot of other drivers flashing there lights at me? Thanks for the info.

That helps a great deal. This car has been a pain on so called dim lights since I got it and dealer wants over 100.00 with the shop time and fees. I just drive in brights and it works ok they are so low. Will be fixed tomorrow. Thanks..

I just bought some ultra bright halogen bulbs yesterday and it took me about 2 hours to put them in. The shop here wanted 100-150 to put them in and I said screw that, I'll do it myself, so I did... Trust me when I say, just pay the 100 to have them do it. I'm no mechanic by any means but I now see why they charge what they do. I had to take the entire bumper off just to get to the headlights and even then, you still have unbolt the headlights to replace the bulbs.

right side light looks quite a bit higher IMHO. i'd drop that right side down a bit...just up 'a smidge' on the right side is ok though!

I own a Malibu. And I find it interesting that no one shows how to adjust the passenger side in their vids, only the driver side. Is it because the passenger side is much more difficult? It’s not the same ease as the driver side. Just an observation on my part.

What if the headlight still does not adjust high enough? Screw is not stripped, will not adjust high enough!

Yeah, good point. Need to adjust my 2012 Chevy Malibu headlamps. May be up against the same issue.

Might not be the correct screw (it’s an easy and common mistake to make).The adjustment screw for my Malibu is in a different location than the car in this video. On my car it’s near the top of the headlight (near the hood) and easy to get to with any length of screwdriver.

On the 2014 Malibu it's anticlockwise to make it go up and clockwise to make it go down 😂 but this is an Australian one so maybe we're just backwards 😂
