Hi, I think that he is a good actor in any show that he does. I am a martial arts fan and watch martial arts movies every night. It would be shame if he does decide to quit doing them. I can see why he would want to as being that he has bein doing them for many years. He mentions that he was a skinny kid, I had a skinny martial arts five year old kid too. I taught him gymnastics then he started winning trophies. I understand what he's talking about. I see Hiro as a very versatile actor as playing many different types of characters and doing a very good job on everyone of them. As in Sebi or villan on the tower verses the role in Mr. Holmes. I like him best as a loyal Samurai, I'll watch any of his movies. Mr. Holmes was a good movie.
His English is so good. Proably lived in the USA for years....oddly, we expect JP actors to .....Always liked Hiroyiki....from when I saw him in Ninja In The Dragon's Den....to The Last Samurai...He sounds like an USA-born JP.....or a JP man who came over when he was 4....he's fluent in English....we keep seeing actors needeing translators...
