Even though the entire reason people were there was to get loot not "donate to the cause". As such that set barny off and he decided to buy literally all the war effort items off the market board, and sent a message out to everyone that he would pay for people to delete their war effort items instead of donating them. IN short by being dick heads and hosting a shitty event they did more harm than good to the war effort because they set off barny to try and delay the war effort as much as possible using his massive gold funds, when before this event he didn't really care
The best part about him leaving the Peacebloom DKP is that it left his Molten Core raid lockout open, which meant he was able to finish the Scepter Questline for Scarab Lord. In a way, Heavyhoof is both villain AND hero.
That rat extermination exchange program is going to be living rent free in my head for months, holy shit. Thank you for chronicling these outrageous events.

I swear, this and Uberdanger's Swockwickdus series are the two best WoW series on the internet. So much care has been put into making these elaborate pieces of art that will no doubt stand the test of time. This level of commitment, especially on Barny's part, is completely insane but also praise-worthy. A testament to there being nothing in this world stronger than human willpower. Call me crazy for speaking so forcefully about a couple videos on the internet with little more value than that of entertainment but I think this is exactly what people need to see in these tough pandemic times. Stay strong, everyone. Keep pushing for whatever goal you may have with your head held high and you will surely reach it.

I'd like to echo some of the sentiments in the comments regarding the editing in this video The odd screen tearing and transitions definitely work to emphasize the level of psychosis one would develop simply killing bugs over and over, with sleep deprivation and exhaustion setting in. Furthermore, it foreshadows the corruption of all Barny"s footage at the end of the video, which in itself is a master-stroke in terms of story telling(which is already phenomenal). Finally, and I don't know how true this is, but if we are watching back some of the partially corrupted footage that has been recovered, this technique essentially masks any visual problems (or bugs - haha) in the footage. Extraordinary clever. This video Barny, is something very special. Well Done, I love and adore it

I had to really laugh, because we had the same thing but it was with the launch of phase 2 with world pvp, and Blizzard replied to various "Hey these guys are colluding across factions" with "Uh yeah nah that's not bannable". The tale is amazing, and the moment of KP being taken as prisoner and what followed was just amazing.

The moment the Rats tried to scream "Crossfaction collusion!" I had to really laugh, because we had the same thing but it was with the launch of phase 2 with world pvp, and Blizzard replied to various "Hey these guys are colluding across factions" with "Uh yeah nah that's not bannable".
The tale is amazing, and the moment of KP being taken as prisoner and what followed was just amazing.

It's weird honestly, because of how bare bones a lot of the narrative stuff is it causes a focus on social interactions like this, so the people become the experience. Maybe someday we'll get to have both.
