  • The GAB8 is a multi-channel amplifier board designed to enhance your audio experience. It is perfect for use in game machines, arcade machines, racing simulators, massage chairs or tables, and home theaters. With 10 output channels, including 3 for subwoofers, it offers flexibility for various audio setups, such as 7.3, 7.2, 7.1, 5.2, 5.1 and more.
Featuring the high-performance TI TPA3244 AMP IC, the GAB8 delivers 50 watts per channel without the need for a fan. When a fan is installed, it can output a peak power of 75 watts per channel. This ensures powerful and immersive sound.
The GAB8 includes a plug-N-play 7.1 USB codec board for digital input, eliminating potential grounding noise and ensuring optimal audio quality. It offers driver-free operation and compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, making it easy to use.
Equipped with industrial-grade inductors and capacitors dedicated to Class D amplification, the GAB8 guarantees outstanding audio playback performance, reliability, and durability. It also features a robust heatsink to efficiently dissipate heat and prevent overheating during high-power operation.
For user convenience, the GAB8 incorporates Plug-N-Play terminals, simplifying the connection process and making setup and operation easy and user-friendly.
In this video, we demonstrate step by step on how to configure the USB codec in your PC, how to make an 8CH music and play it with the GAB8.

Damn...this is pretty cool! Are you planning on releasing the codec board as a standalone product? Because that would be spectacular as a DIY cinema audio processor!

Multi channel is nice, but if a pc is required for the 7.1 channel distribution, I'm limited always. So something like a home cinema would only work if material is played via the pc, or?

this is a great idea and exactly what I was looking for ages. But is there a way (not using the volume control slider in the USB connected PC) to adjust the volume for all channels at once? I mean such a rotary encoder connected via I2C or something similar as it can be found in other class D amp modules. Thanks a lot for any further information.

Hello. We appreciate your attention and valuable feedback. Currently, we do not have a volume control board compatible with the GAB8. We will forward your suggestions to our Research and Development (R&D) department for consideration. Have a fantastic day~

@@WONDOMAudio Hello. Thanks a lot for your friendly reply. Yes, please talk to your R&D. I guess this question is not only interesting for me. As I understand the situation it is not a good idea to do volume control only by the PC. Most likely the DAC resolution is effectively much lower when using a part of the 16Bit to volume control headroom. The DAC board has a connector labeld I2C. Perhaps this one is connected to the DAC chip and this chip has a register for volume control. I'm not able to read the DAC chips labeling. Otherwise I would have checked this on me own. Perhaps you can supply the schematics of the board module? Than I'm able to check & develop this solution. Many thanks in advance
