The ADAU1701 DSP preamp offers a versatile 2-in, 4-out configuration, with the default output set as a digital crossover. To cater to a wide range of audio systems, we have carefully crafted the 4-out section, which consists of two channels (DAC0&DAC1, BANK A) dedicated to delivering exceptional bass reproduction, while the remaining two channels (DAC2&DAC3, BANK B) handle the mid-range signals. To enhance user convenience, we have incorporated General Purpose I/O ports (GPIOs) into external interfaces. These ports enable seamless operation and control through various external components, including potentiometers, switches, and indicators.
Fine-tuning your audio experience is a breeze with the four potentiometers and the preloaded program. Easily adjust frequencies and volume to meet your specific requirements. Furthermore, we have included a programming port for seamless integration with the ICP5 programmer. For complete customization, all terminal functions can be tailored to your specific needs using SigmaStudio programming. To simplify programming, we have thoughtfully labeled the interfaces with corresponding GPIOs, ensuring a straightforward setup process.
In the previous video, we covered connecting the programming board for SigmaStudio programming and saving, loading demo programs, and restoring factory settings.
In this video, we will explain the correspondence between demo program and hardware, as well as how to modify the cut-off frequency of filter.
