Sadly TH-cam considered Your name to be against their Guidelines (sexual content , I believe it was the self touching for curiosity scenes ) so they limited the reach and the ads on the initial video . I know its a lot to ask to re-watch it BUT if you do I am grateful! I am very sad that we lost the views on the first one BUT i am even sadder about your comments :( This is my first anime movie video and I hope to react to more in the future so let me know what should we check next ?
Unfortunately Anime stuff is very difficult on TH-cam as far as I know. I wish you would react to Mononoke, Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle, but apparently Ghibli reactions are a no go on TH-cam.
Such double standards - other channels have the same parts of the film up just fine without issue. Better safe than sorry, I'd avoid Ghibli reactions as they can be particularly tough on copyright. If sexual content is an issue, I'd sadly avoid "Perfect Blue" as well, magnificent film though it is. Instead, "A Silent Voice", "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas", "Paprika", "Suzume", "5 Centimeters per Second", "Drifting Home", "Child of Kamiari Month" and "A Whisker Away" are my shouts. Thanks for your efforts in getting this one back up!
I have watched YOUR NAME movie 3 days ago and it has done something incredible to my heart, the music, their life, the scenery, the animation and especially their love for each other. not a big fan romantic stories but damn never imagined that love can be something like this and make me go crazy. best movie 🌠
I came back to re-watch this reaction because of you. 😂 You're probably the only reactor that I've seen that's so invested in this from start to finish. 👍
I've seen this movie dozens of times and it never fails to make me cry. It's truly magical. The writing, the animation, the soundtrack, it's all perfection. I'm glad you discovered it. Thank you.
This movie is the reason I first fell in love with anime, and it is also the film that moved me the most. I always enjoy watching reaction videos to see the parts that make people emotional, and I regularly watch these reaction videos.
I saw this movie in the theater in 2016. And during the scene where she opened her hand only to find out he wrote "I love you" instead of his name, there was an audible gasp from some of the audience, followed by barely contained sobbing lol. God what a movie, one that would make any anime fan proud!
Oh man, this movie... I've watched it two times so far and every time i broke down in tears...and i will continue doing so on every single future rewatch! Why? Because!...there's just no other movie, that allows you to cry SO DAMN WELL❤
A few things you might have missed: 1) You remember the beginning (and the end too) where they talk about having a dream as if something's missing as they get ready for work? Notice how after they wipe their tears they stop to look at their hands... It's the same hand they tried to write each other's name on 2) In China and Japan there is an idea of an invisible red string connecting two destined lovers. Hence symbology of the string. There are other colors on the ribbon that represent other things too. The center white diagonal stripe symbolizing the comet, the blue around it for the lake(s), etc. 3) There's also this big thing about how the god their family worship is actually a fraction of the comet that's given their family powers to save the village. That's how they have the dance and the tradition to honor their god. The comet actually came at least twice before. To make the lake and the god's underworld shrine. Both times also created craters. So the god is actually the comet and gave the family the power to save it's people 4) And the BIG Whopper. Mitsuha wasn't going to write her name on Taki's hand. You see her start to write from left to right in a straight line, here's the many ways you can write her name, but the way she actually writes her name is with a curved stoke, not a straight one. It's seen when at the end of the first day mistuha is in taki's body. She writes on his body (his hand) her own name and begins it with a curved stroke similar to a reverse C. You see it in your video at 11:06 . Instead, it's likely she was going to write sukida or すきだ. While you likely don't recognize it, it's actually in the movie. You can see it on your clip at 38:16 And yes, the director/writer, Makoto Shinkai did comment that mitsuha would have written something else other than her name in a Q&A
I watched it twice! I loved your reaction to this movie. It’s one of my all time favorites. You are smart because you were always one step ahead of other’s reactions! Btw, you would look great in a kimono.
You know your reaction is too cute 😅 I was crying along with you, however as soon as you mentioned ‘write her name fast’ it cracked me up hahahaha 😂😂😂 loved your reaction ❤️
They can't remeber each other because of "the other world". Her grandma at one point said "you have to leave behind what you cherish the most". This is one of THOSE movies, for sure. I can't remember how much I cried the first time I saw it but I do remember how much it marked me. It was maybe the first time a movie told me that much I couldn't follow its rythm. Every time I see something I can call "a masterpiece" I remember 5 or 6 pieces of art, and this movie is always among them. Really thanks for reacting to it. It's beautiful to see another person enjoying things for the first time when I just can't go back in time and do it again hahaha
This type of movie is most enjoyed on your 3rd or 4th watch, you start to notice all the little clues he left all throughout the movie which simply just make it a masterpiece. This movie should be studied in schools.
If you want another anime movie about dreaming thats got some amazing animation, watch *_Paprika_* (the opening has some of the best transitions in any film ever). I remember when *_Your Name_* was still in a limited premiere, and I got to see it on a plane when it still wasn't in any theaters in the US… so I had no way to see it again or talk to anyone about it because they couldn't see it. It's still SUCH an emotional experience every time.
From Japan. "Your name" to people all over the world. I'm very happy to be loved. When I saw it for the first time, I was fascinated and my heart was so full that I couldn't think about anything other than this movie for a while. Seven years later, there is still no day I forgot. Even in Japan, if this movie is revival, the movie theater will be full. This movie has many scenes such as Japanese thoughts, how to choose unique Japanese words, and the atmosphere of the place that greatly changes the meaning of one word. If you know the fun of Japanese, this movie will be more fun and moving. The scene where Mitsuha opened his hands and said I love you. That is "I like it" in Japanese. In more detail in English, "At this time, Taki gave priority to telling the person I liked you more than the name, Mitsuha, who I don't know if I can meet him after that, rather than leaving his name, and that he gave priority to telling his feelings that he liked you more than his name. It's included. I would be happy if you could know the charm of Japanese, which has a lot of meaning in these three letters.
Its okay Biss but this mean I get to see you cry again and every time you cry during a movie it breaks my heart I just wanna give you a hug and be there for you but your the best Biss.
I am not tryting to be evil, but like, I have to say that, the more tears that comes from the youtuber's eyes, the louder my laughter is hahahahaha It is so enjoyable to see your endless tears. Such pure emotion just crosses any nation, language, race barrier, and we end up being deeply moved by the same scene!
Love the reaction 🎉❤ I cried with you again😂by the way, In Japanese when you write ‘Takisu’ backwards, it becomes’I Love you’😂 and Takisu is the name of a familiar person😊so in fact Taki did write his own name on Mitsuha’s hand, but when Mitsuha fell down she was looking the reverse words😢and that happens to be’I love you’😭
This should've won best animated film in 2016, I don't think it was even nominated. Actually, this should've been best film instead of Moonlight. I've never met anyone that has seen Moonlight.
Movies to watch next -A silent voice -I want to eat your pancreas -Weathering with you -Kiki's delivery service Anime series to watch next -Your lie in April (must must) -Violet evergarden (most beautiful) -Attack on titan (you'll know once you start)
"Weathering With You"..The 2 main characters in this (Your Name) make a brief appearence ..And....."A Silent Voice"...Both these are well worth seeing.
I like how genuine you were while watching the movie. The movie has a deeper meaning, beyond romance, it speaks of the divine journey taken by two halves of the same soul whose connection is said to be beyond space and time hence their souls know each other long before they actually have met in person. It wasn't shown here, but they've had their physical union and got married to each other as well. Its shown in weathering with you.
The director is known for making these kinda movies, and while they are all clever and well done, I would suggest waiting a few days between each one. Each one is a emotional gut punch, for me personally, I can't do those all the time. But the movies are amazing.
I love your reaction, it's so good, I enjoyed this so much and your accent is so cute! I hope you could watch Everything Everywhere All At Once, it's one of the best movies of 2023, I know for sure you'll gonna like it.

I love this movie so much. This isn't my first anime, but it is the first anime I watched when I started watching anime knowing what anime is. As a kid, I watched anime, but I didn't know they were called anime. I started with this when I decided to actually watch anime back in 2016 or 2017. I’m a grown ass man. Finding out Mitsuha was dead surprised me. The “I love you” scene made me cry. But the end? Them running through the city looking for each other? Them finally finding the thing they’ve searched so many years for? That broke me.
They both share the beauty of the visuals, and Suzume might even be more beautiful to look at if possible than Your Name, but Your Name's storyline is a cut above. Suzume comes closest. Weathering with you has some moments, but it's kind of a mess storyline-wise.

@@BissFlix I love summer wars, but definitely recommend perfect blue !, if you saw black swan starring Natalie Portman , then you know what you’re getting into, the director of black swan literally bought the rights to perfect blue so he could make his own version, with a ballerina instead of a j-pop idol, I also recommend any ghibli movies
Such a lovely movie! Definitely one of my favorite anime of all time. But good that you watched this one first. As for Makoto Shinkai's other movies and short films, they are often visually very expressive and artistic, but also very unique in their storytelling. And they are often not exactly "mainstream" compatible. Especially because they do not always present us with an obvious "happy ending". Unfortunately "Weathering with you (2019)" wasn't quiet as good. It just hit a lil bit too close to "Your Name" in terms of art design and storytelling. Still, movies like "The Place promised in our early Days" are very recommended. Just as other well known movies from Studio Ghibli and others like "A Silent Voice" (movie & series) or "I want to eat your Pancreas" (movie) are very good, more modern ones.
There's two gods power been use in this movie, the moon and love gods and the time gods, all things that happened between taki and mitsuha the memories and note will be removed upon time was up. Taki write his name onto mitsuha palm will be remove but not his love confessions because moon gods protect any things related to love across time and forever. That just a gist of it.
Hi, my name is Heitor, you sommoned myself by posting a reaction to your name. One of my all time hobbies is watching to your name reactions. So. you already got a new subscriber. Wish you all love, all better thoughts and i'm sorry for the video you lost, so i'll watch it some more times to add. If you want to see more movies like Your Name, i recomend Suzume, Weathering With You (oh, this is a gorgeous one) and Garden of Words, all from the same director. You may also like About Time (not anime) if you haven't already watched and Upside Down. Hope you're doing well ^^ Edit: Great reaction and i will never get tired of all the Kataware-doki sequence, so powerful. I find interesting how this movie have a whole section exclusively dedicated to desarm you with fun, jokes and lightness so you feel theres nothing to worry. "it's gonna be a sweet ride", them it proceeds to break and rebound you several times ultil the end. Truly masterful. Edit²: There's a theory that Taki wrotte "i love you" because he figured out whenever he tries to remember or register her name, somehow it all vanishes, so "i love you" wouldn't. And people actually analyzed how Mitsuha was writting and some belive she was actually writing "i love u" but in Itomori dialect.Japan has 2 alphabets and several forms of writting the same thing, so is possible.
Mam you should watch Grave of the fireflies, Anohana, Your name, I want to eat your pancreas, Silent voice, Josee the tiger and the fish, Violet evergarden, Weathering with you, Erased, Garden of words etc 😊
Nice to meet you. I'm a Japanese person who loves anime. I watched it using the machine translation function. Thank you for being moved by this Japanese anime. I also have another Japanese anime I'd like to recommend. It's "Violet Evergarden." It's a masterpiece. I'd love for you to watch it and make a reaction video. I hope you'll be even more moved by it.
Its been awhile since watching any of these titles. The Korean live action equivalent to Your Name would be Ditto (2000) though it isn’t as moving as Your Name. If you want a different kind of heart wrenching: Grave of the Fireflies (1988). Lighter but still emotional is The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006). And naturally we should come full circle to Ponyo (2008) and Spirited Away (2001); I have my bias of which I enjoy more but shouldn’t influence which you watch first and which you enjoy more (if both are new to you).
Sadly TH-cam considered Your name to be against their Guidelines (sexual content , I believe it was the self touching for curiosity scenes ) so they limited the reach and the ads on the initial video . I know its a lot to ask to re-watch it BUT if you do I am grateful!
I am very sad that we lost the views on the first one BUT i am even sadder about your comments :(
This is my first anime movie video and I hope to react to more in the future so let me know what should we check next ?
Perhaps A Silent Voice or Grave of the Fireflies... if you feel like getting your tears flowing again. :)
It's a pity, but be careful with reacting to Studio Ghibli movies, I hear that they're particularly draconian with copyright strikes.
Unfortunately Anime stuff is very difficult on TH-cam as far as I know. I wish you would react to Mononoke, Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle, but apparently Ghibli reactions are a no go on TH-cam.

Koe no Katachi (Silent Voice), Summer Wars, and Perfect Blue... off the top of my head. I would also suggest any Ghibli movie tbh
Got it, thank you
@@BissFlix I love summer wars, but definitely recommend perfect blue !, if you saw black swan starring Natalie Portman , then you know what you’re getting into, the director of black swan literally bought the rights to perfect blue so he could make his own version, with a ballerina instead of a j-pop idol, I also recommend any ghibli movies
Happy you liked this. Hopefully I’ll visit in the future
@@BissFlix 様 心よりお待ちしております😉😉
I strongly recommend the Studio Ghibli films in particular. notably grave of the fireflies. rarely seen such an incredible animated film
Thank you for the recommendation
Such a lovely movie! Definitely one of my favorite anime of all time. But good that you watched this one first. As for Makoto Shinkai's other movies and short films, they are
often visually very expressive and artistic, but also very unique in their storytelling.
Just as other well known movies from Studio Ghibli and others like
"A Silent Voice" (movie & series) or "I want to eat your Pancreas" (movie) are very good, more modern ones.
This movie... Masterpiece.
Agreed
I love your reaction so much! haha...
You need to watch "weathering with you", from the same director. That movie is in same universe of "your name".
Who's cutting onions out here? I've never seen this anime, but good story and another heartfelt reaction.
Great anime movie, beautifully done. thanks for watching
It's the most beautiful movie history I've watched ever
Right?
My first anime was Princess Mononoke. I'd love to see your reaction to that one!!!
Ill add it to the list, hopefully in the future
My favorite movie, you can see them again in Tenki no Ko
Glad you liked this, hopefully I’ll get to that movie in the future
Best Your Name reaction ever! Congratulations from México and thank you for this great video 🥲 .......
日本人ですがこれを超える映画にまだ会えていません。
Bissの素晴らしい反応に感謝❤
Aww thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it
Nice reaction! I would also love to see your reaction to the 'Rose of the Versailles' series, especially with the upcoming movie release!
the movie ""weathering with you"" which released in 2019 is very good too, it is from the same novelist Makoto Shinkai
Noted, hopefully in the future
Besides "A Silent Voice", "Summer Wars" was another really good stand-alone movie.
Thank you, illnote them down
Grave of the Fireflies, is a title you should try too. Also, lighter note From up on Poppy Hill. Both are good , but emotional for sure.
Thank you for the recommendation
It is always good to honor those that came before us, for sure 5:03
Una película hermosa. Tu reacción es encantadora ❤
Bissさんが涙するたびにこちらも涙涙になってしまいました。
Awwww
Me encanto tu reacción, genial que la disfrutaste es muy bella pelicula
Nice reaction 🎉❤
Biss has proven time and again to be a romantic.
Haha am I ?
Beautiful story, beautiful reaction
Thank you
I recommend these, Anohana, Banana fish, Your lie in April, which are all anime tv series. And Grave of the fireflies( an animated film.).
Thank you for the recommendation
There's two gods power been use in this movie, the moon and love gods and the time gods, all things that happened between taki and mitsuha the memories and note will be removed upon time was up. Taki write his name onto mitsuha palm will be remove but not his love confessions because moon gods protect any things related to love across time and forever. That just a gist of it.
You were a mess. But you're still beautiful even with all the tears :)
One of the best reactions, thank you.
You are right BissFlix-san. Kagome of Inuyasha is a miko and lives in a shrine. It is the same as Mizuha.
Hope you're doing well ^^
Edit: Great reaction and i will never get tired of all the Kataware-doki sequence, so powerful.
Thank you so much, thank you for subscribing and the suggestion
Mam you should watch
Grave of the fireflies,
Anohana,
Your name,
I want to eat your pancreas,
Silent voice,
Josee the tiger and the fish,
Violet evergarden,
Weathering with you,
Erased,
Garden of words etc 😊
Nice to meet you. I'm a Japanese person who loves anime. I watched it using the machine translation function. Thank you for being moved by this Japanese anime.
I also have another Japanese anime I'd like to recommend. It's "Violet Evergarden." It's a masterpiece. I'd love for you to watch it and make a reaction video. I hope you'll be even more moved by it.
Second time , why not ❤
Thank you, means a lot
Yes! I watched Inuyasha too! The clothes you're thinking of are worn by "miko" young girls who work at temples.
And naturally we should come full circle to Ponyo (2008) and Spirited Away (2001); I have my bias of which I enjoy more but shouldn’t influence which you watch first and which you enjoy more (if both are new to you).
man that 'i love you' hits like a truck... a truck full of onions!
Right? At full speed too
ofcourse i watch inuyasha
that my childhood anime
A very powerful story.
