    I think you are a winner, as a new subscriber I had a ‘marathon session’ and watch almost all of your vids. Very nice and helpfull for possible troubleshooting on my GT. Thanks and keep them vids coming.👌

    Thanks again for a very useful real world video. It's the first time I've seen this often overlooked job covered in a video. Read how to do it on other forums but it was hard to understand from text with dodgy pictures. Now, for the first time, I know exactly what to do and my 15 year old 156 will get what is probably it's first pollen filter change ever. I suspect even the main dealer service I used to get didn't replace the filter. Hope it improves the airflow which is midway between an old man blowing our the candles on his 80th birthday and an infant farting.

    Today I finally subscribed your channel after searching for 1 hour to find again. I watched that video 1 week ago and changed my 147 cabin filters myself (proudly). They are same with GT. Funny thing I found out the mechanic who changed the filters before placed them wrong direction and not side by side. He pushed them there on right side and no filter on left side. I was thinking whats wrong with that heater, dust blowing from fans and nasty smell. Everything wonderful now. Only concern I saw was some red oil residue on filter plastic cover, not on filters.

      Thats not oil, but coolant, probably your cabin radiator is leaking, till the point, it blows and all the 6 liters of coolant drains into the passenger footwel

    I struggled with this until I found your tutorial. What threw me also was when I pulled the old filter out, (disgusting) it was one single unit. I doubt it had ever been changed on my newly acquired Alfa 147 Ti from 2005. (Labelling on filter stated 2004) Managed to install the two new filters. I wonder why they chaged out from a single to two seperate units?

    • @arcgarage
      @arcgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably due to the ease of installation

    Thanks for the video - it's a hateful job - made worse by the fact the locking tab on my plastic surround has previously been snapped off.

    Strained my back getting in there but I did it. The front filter was SUPER dirty. Was full of dirt and dead bugs. Probably hadn't been changed in a decade. I knew the filters were bad because the air quality was horrendous.

      It is best to do it yourself, if you take it to a garage they might skip it for the reason you just stated

      @@arcgarage Yeah, you need a flexible back and neck to get in there lol. Basically where you would stretch your feet is where you head and arms need to go... Anyway cheers for the videos, they have become my alfa romeo service manual 👍

    Thanks for your videos, I'm learning a lot thanks to you.
    I have one question. Where is the air intake for the recirculation air system? Just in the place the Cabin Pollen filter is?

    I have a difference in temperature between driver & passenger. Any ideas? Both motors move with every click when I change the temperature.

    • @arcgarage
      @arcgarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Could be the temperature sensor, or one of the flaps...

    Please, could share the dimmensions or the references for the filters? I am trying to buy them to change following your tutorial, but searching in autodoc all filters are a bit diferents (and at the same time says all valids, wich is impossible 😅)

    • @arcgarage
      @arcgarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can't find the dimensions, but if you buy it at a regular car parts store, I assure you it will fit. The filter is essentially the same both for my 147 and GT
