Is it necessary to single crochet at the end? If so, do you attach a new working yarn or continue with same one as you started with?

whitney24100 It is not necessary to single crochet around the whole thing, it’s just a way to make it look nice. You can attach a new yarn or use the same one.

Do you place a double crochet in the turning chain? Or skip to next stitch?

No, when you first started you ch the amount you want plus 1 ch for turning and yes skip that turning ch

So like, if you need 21 stitches, then you chain 22 and skip the turning stitch and go into next one? How many do you chain up? Sorry, I'm new to crochet . :-)

whitney24100 yes that’s right if you did not ch 22 and just did the 21 when you turn you would have 20 st’s instead of 21. The amount of rows you need would depend on how long you needed your pad to be, you would have to measure the thing your putting the pad on and make sure the pad your making in the same length.

Thank you thank you. And it looked like in your video you only chain up one when turning your work. :-)

Its a little hard to hear you. I'm listening at max volume on my phone and can't make out what you're saying. But thank you for the pattern

I think you have a good video... Except I could barely hear you... It's hard to crochet and try to listen real close.. Maybe next video.. Speak up just a little.
