2:10 Not a chance, I got necessary experience for that. Also a tip for others is to visit Reddit's megathread. Really useful source.
And get necessary plugins, like nano defender and universal bypass. (These are a must have, because otherwise an ad can and will destroy your machine. That you thought was blocked.) A great way to mess with Ad block detection is also with No script.
Another tip is to use things like Xtreme downloader (it's open source)
And JDownlader for any direct downloads. These tools will minimize any potential issues (thought Google captcha is annoying). Because they dig for files to download.
For torrents there are many clients, and i always say to go with open source. (QBitorrent) But it doesn't work well with external devices.
The biggest risk will come from software rather than other stuff. I have heard and seen many things so chose carefully. Some sites will put crypto currency mining in their installations. So do your research first. And don't distribute it around like it's candy.
*BUT REMEMBER, WITHOUT A VPN PROTECTION YOU CAN GET JAIL TIME IN SOME COUNTRIES. AS WELL AS NECESSARY HARDENED FIREFOX BROWSER.*

Would you recommend installing LineageOS for those who don't have a Pixel device?

Depends on what you value more. Lineage will lower the security of most devices you use it on, but with a huge benefit to your privacy since there’s no google by default. If you’re aware of the risks of lineage and you want a degoogled device then sure I think it’s a good rom.
