Thank you for talking about receiving Holy Communion for politicians in Public Mortal Sin. The fact that the Church has been allowing this shakes my faith to the core. I am new to the Catholic Church yet I am afraid to receive Communion if I think that I have something I need to confess. I also know that it is not a good confession unless I repent and am going to do my best to avoid that sin. It does not shake my faith that these politicians are so delusional as to think that they can approach the Eucharist but that Bishops still allow them to do so. It shake my faith that the Pachomamas were set on the altars. I am an ex-Protestant and I can say for certain that it will be hard to convert others to the Church that Jesus Christ established with all these things. Lord Have Mercy on us all.
