Incredible how Peru has awesome atractions... Larger wave in the world, Chicama, Unique site Machupichu, amazing MTB rides and one of the best food in the world, this should be a super powerfull turistic destination
Thanks for taking me back to Peru. We were in Ollantaytambo just a few years ago - truly one of the most spectacular places on the earth - we hiked around for several days here, I didn't want to leave. And the Inca ruins are everywhere, which you don't see on these videos - just incredible, huge steps and stone buildings everywhere you look. There is literally no sound pollution - not a single plane flying over, just the sound of running water and wind. Not very many places like that in the world anymore. Knowing how steep those hills are, and how hard the altitude is, I am truly impressed by your ability to ride like that. My arms hurt watching! So sorry you were unable to do the trip into Machu Pichu. But don't worry, its not going anywhere and I am sure you will want to go back one day.
This Peru bike-cation trip makes me wish a week only has 6 days because I'm always a day early whenever I check out your channel for new uploads. Fantastic riding as always. 😊
I miss Peru, so beautiful. This trail looks super fun! I’m stoked for you! Thanks for sharing all high quality footage of your adventures! My visit to Machu Picchu was also canceled due to protests. I got stuck in the jungle due to downed trees on the airstrip and they burned down the entire block of government buildings. It took 3 days for the military to drive in, from Cusco, to stop the protest. I’m glad to see this trip is still working out for you and that your safe. Te extraño Perú y la gente tan buena! Hamuq kutikama
@@bkxc yeah you were really fortunate, aside from certain things being closed in some ways the lack of tourists meant no hikers on the trails and less busy streets. What a dream trip! So stoked for you!
@@cuscokintimtbing25 Hey Kinti! Some day! Getting enough days off work and a newborn baby makes it hard. (I was already looking into booking your service but your site has been down, it’s up now. Some day I plan to)
I recognized the location in less than a second hehehe. Saw the videos of the Inca Avalanche by Kilian, what a cool place!!!It looks way greenish than in the race videos. I hope you ride in Lima, that bike in the Cerro looks very very fun. Very nice video Brian!
Another awesome ride, I love peru its an amazing place for adventure however I've lived my whole life at sea level in Scotland and needed a week in cusco to acclimatise to the altitude. So much to do not enough time to do it all in one trip
Amazing! So awesome you all got to do those trails. Hope the people of Peru can get a representative government. Guess I'll have to go to the race in order to ride it.
yes amigo, you have to ride the inca avalanche once, it takes place at the end of May or beggining of June, this year it will be the 3rd and 4th of June
I was in the navy in Puerto Rico in 1983 and I was suppose to go on a detachment to Peru that I volunteered for . It was canceled because of unrest . Peru has always had problems since the time of the Inca empire in perpetual struggle . Wobbly back tire down those trails is a bit unnerving .
Awesome series so far! You've definiltey inspired me to get out and explore more cool places on my bike. Last year I was lucky enough to ride Whistler and Soquel. Also visited Chile but didn't do much riding there. We did see a ton of locals cruising around on Trek hardtails, that was neat cuz the first mountain bike I ever bought was a trek hardtail. happy riding!
the caveat is IF you're going to add more sodium you need to make sure you are are NOT also POTASSIUM deficient. If you are, this can cause major problems and imbalances. typically if you're taking in lets say 2000mg sodium per day you also need to be putting in around 4600 mg of potassium. people that follow a low carb or keto type of diet really need to check your potassium or ensure you're getting enough daily (not in supplement form either). big fan of LMNT by the way.
I started using LMNT late last year, as I wanted a sugar-free mix. Have to say that I've been very happy with it. I need to order more as I've been out, but trying to remember my fav flavors before ordering haha
I thought this trail looked familiar. I've watched a few races on this trail, and those guys rip. I'll ride at about Brian's pace and have fun without getting killed.
like most of the clips of are them going down slopes that too on like nature roads, what about getting back up, do they use man built roads, or like do they have to carry it back up?
Aweome views!! To bad you guys were in all out race the entire time !!!😂😂😂 didn’t have a chance to enjoy the mountains views What was the hurry if you don’t mind me asking?
I have heard that the problem especially with premixed electrolyte drinks is that the electrolytes are too diluted because otherwise it wouldn't taste good. So that means if you drink a bottle of Gatorade you end up with same amount of electrolytes in your body because of the amount of water you drink. So i guess if you mix these powdered electrolytes in a good ratio, they should be much more effective than the usual stuff.
Stunning ride! I'm a vicarious internet rider. I'm about to show my ignorance, but what is that mechanical noise from the new bike that I'm hearing while you're riding? I don't remember hearing that from the blue bike. Thanks and keep up the good riding!
Videos like this are the reason I started watching your channel. Solo adventures around the world 😎

Dogs in the city is one thing but a cow on the trail that adds another element 😂❤️🚵🏻

Hi ! What action camera do you shoot with? Are you using a 3 axis gimbal?
what bike do you have?
You've already fight a yak in Tibet so a grazing cow should be no big deal.
I got into this hobby and suffer my first hand injury xD

Did you visit the ruins of Ollantaytambo?
Hi Brian! Maybe your tires is too hard!
When did yall go?
That one guy really needs a new wheel
