Just a friendly comment, an intercooler will not play any role in lowering your water temps, intercoolers cool the air down in the intake before it goes into the turbo.
@@jcwstage2535"blowing the seal" is the plastic failing and the pipe blowing off the throttle body. With heat cycling making the plastic brittle, 2 things typically happen - the MAP sensor blows off the pipe, or more commonly, the throttle body coupling blows apart (yes, right at the seal, but it's not the seal (gasket) that fails - it's the plastic itself). If you're really special, both fail at the same time (like mine did). Potential issue here is that while yes, you're dealing with positive pressure in the pipe itself, you also have negative pressure at the throttle body. Allowing it to blow off risks inhaling any plastic shards blown off in the failure. It usually doesn't happen, but it would be a catastrophic event if it did. It's entirely preventable, guaranteed to happen over time, and imminent if you've increased boost - entirely not worth the risk. Tuning the car while maintaining the plastic charge pipe is a terrible move - straight up. It's a couple hundred bucks and a little time (a total pain in the ass, admittedly). But necessary.

Hi mate quick question. What's the inlet size on the slip on exhaust tips do you know ? Thinking of the blue ebay akrapovic exhaust tips
i’ll have to check
Little slip up “the de….sports cat”
😏😏
Did you do the charge pipe? Pushing 400 bhp without upgrading it, it will surely go bang soon 😅
i’ll replace it with a metal one when it does break
@@jcwstage2535 risky as plastic could find it's way into the turbo no?
@@ItsCDB they usually blow seals first
@@jcwstage2535 fair enough might do the same
