It is the third of DG’s series of seven Mozart operas conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and initiated by Rolando Villazón, in collaboration with Festspielhaus Baden Baden, U-Live, and sponsored by ROLEX.

Awesome!!! Absolutely great talents, musicians, conductor, singers, and the Deutsche Grammophon, spectacular as always!
Sounds great. As one audience member, I hypothesize that not having to act on a stage allows the conductor and singers to focus on the voice and libretto.
That is great! I have the previous two, which are great, and have seen "Die Entfuehrung" live at the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden. I can't wait for this new cd!

Jose Hill she is also a great Blonde in Salzburg.

No, this comment and this comment alone is a terrible mistake. It’s a recording, not an on-stage performance, of course they can wear whatever they want.
Are we really needing ANOTHER recording of Mozart's Entführung? Aren't there enough? Why are recording companies so cowardly and produce always the same stuff? There are sooo many musical masterpieces that are worth to be rediscovered... If I can choose between Krips, Böhm, Solti, Harnoncourt, Gardiner, Hogwood... do I really need Nezét-Séguin? Why are you not producing something less known with this excellent conductor? Well, the answer is obvious. Lack of courage and greed for money...
Well first of all no amount of Mozart recordings will ever be enough. And secondly: what's a masterpiece that needs to be rediscovered? Genuinely asking. Like something from the same time period?
